1960’s – club founded
1992 – 30 members
2004 – Ballymakealy lower site leased
2005 – construction began on grass track and tartan strip
2009 – charge applied to Minister for Sport
2011 – 220 members (187 to date in 2012)

220 Registered members – 75% are juveniles
20 Athletics Ireland qualified and Garda vetted coaches
