Lycopodium provides innovative, cost effective, energy efficient and environmentally friendly engineering solutions for clients, in a diverse range of process related industries. Lycopodium Process Industries is a subsidiary within the Lycopodium Group, an Australian based engineering and project management business that provides a diverse range of services to various industry sectors, including mineral processing and the process industries. With Australian offices in Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane and internationally in Ghana, Philippines, Tanzania and Canada, Lycopodium is an international engineering company, undertaking projects around the world.

HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT
Health, safety and environment management of our own workforce and all others under our control is of paramount importance to Lycopodium in not only the successful pursuit of its business activities, but outside of the work arena. HSE behaviours, commitment and outcomes are an unequivocal focus from the group managing director and across all companies and levels of the company.

QUALITY
Lycopodium Process Industries is focused on providing a consistently high quality service and reliable performance via its process engineering and design capabilities. Lycopodium Process Industries is Quality Management Certified to ISO 9001 – 2008 for project management, design, procurement, construction management and commissioning services. Detailed quality plans are prepared to co-ordinate quality assurance from design through to construction and integrated into the Project Implementation Plans.
Lycopodium’s commitment to quality is visible in the numerous engineering awards received by the company. Projects that have received Engineering Excellence Awards have included the GlaxoSmithKline Fine Chemicals Facility, the Herman Research Laboratory Pilot Plant for Hydrothermal Drying of Brown Coal and the Colgate-Palmolive Sulphonate Detergent Plant. Lycopodium was also awarded Plant of the Year by the Society of Chemical Industry for the SRL Plasma Halon Destruction Facility and the ICI Dulux Resin Manufacturing Facility.

Lycopodium delivered a new spent acid storage tank farm, a new concentrated acid mixing facility, refurbished three acid tanker loading bays, a new Nitrous Oxide Fume Absorption plant and developed the detailed design tender package for a further Nitric Acid tank farm.

Lycopodium was responsible for detailing the grain intake and milling processes, Australianisation, and detailed design of the civil/structural work, buildings, pipe bridges, underground services, tank farm, loading/unloading facilities, ethanol bleeding and utilities.

Lycopodium was engaged as the process, mechanical and electrical/controls designer with Leighton Contractors as the constructor for the new Coode Island Bulk Hazardous and Non Hazardous Liquid Storage Terminal.

Lycopodium became involved in the very early stages of the project, working closely with our client to develop the final design. Lycopodium then carried out the detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the entire project.
