This philosophy and our attention to detail have helped us to establish ourselves as market leaders in the fi eld of dental pressure moulding and sleep medicine and to play a key role in shaping the face of dental technology throughout the world. These achievements confi rm the principles of our traditional company, a source of pride to us.
Our key priority has remained the same: to deliver top quality on a daily basis with the help of a team of well-trained and highly motivated staff. See it for yourself and discover the wide range of products available from SCHEU-DENTAL in our new catalogue.

Perfection through innovative thinking.
A family fi rm now in its third generation, we develop attrac-
tive products and services for the sectors of orthodontics,
pressure moulding, dental sleep medicine and CMD therapy.
Besides tried and tested products which have already been
used successfully for many years, we also rely on inno-
vative therapeutic products catering for the growing
demands made on treatments. Our innovative strength
thrives on new infl uences and the lookout for improvement.
With the acquisition of smile dental some years ago
SCHEU-DENTAL added another orthodontic specialist to
its network, as well as CAD/CAM expert in the guise of
CA DIGITAL in Mettmann. For further information on
CA DIGITAL please refer to page 12 and 54 or
www.ca-digit.com. The product range of smile dental can
be found at www.smile-dental.de.
Achieving perfection is our mission.
6
SCHEU-DENTAL products are used by dental practices and
laboratories in over 100 different countries and we greatly
appreciate the worldwide trust placed in our innovative
product ideas. As early as the 1950s, the founder of our
company used international business trips and contacts to
expand his knowledge of state-of-the-art dental technology
and make sure the latest developments were incorporated
in our products.
Perfection knows no bounds.
7
Dexterity and experience – these are the demands placed on the challenging, precision mechanical work involved in our complex designs. Therefore, many parts at SCHEU-DENTAL are still manufactured by hand, as this is the only way to ensure the greatest possible qua-lity of the precision mechanical parts. The staff at our site guarantee that the company never deviates from this quality standards – which is confi rmed by regular product controls according to the latest certifi cation requirements.
Perfection is a love for detail.
At our Research and Development department we come
up with clever ideas designed to lighten the daily workload
of the dental laboratory and practice. Our varied product
family combines the latest discoveries with trusty thera-
peutic products that still demonstrate the innovative
strength that inspired them. From the CA® CLEAR ALIGNER
splint system, to our BIOSTAR® pressure moulding unit
to the IMPRIMO® Rapid Prototyping Technology: we are
always on the lookout for opportunities to improve and for
innovative ideas. Whether investigating the enhancement

and sleep apnoea – our close cooperation with recognised
research institutes and universities gives rise to sophisti-
cated quality products based on cutting-edge technology.

For many decades, clinical and dental processes in ortho-
dontics have never changed. Today, a striking shift of pa-
radigms is taking place: Terms like scanning, 3D planning
and printing of working models are nowadays most com-
monly used in the orthodontic language. We are among the
pioneers of this process of digitalisation and are looking
forward to the promising developments of the future. It is
our ambition to bring this future to life in your practice or
laboratory and to assist you in implementing new tech-
nologies and effi cient working processes. Therefore our
subsidiary company CA DIGITAL offers you the complete
range of digital services – with individual solutions for the
CA® CLEAR ALIGNER treatment, the INDIVIDUA® bracket-
transfer-trays or the digitally planned lingual retainer.
Perfection is having a vision for the future
12
As a founding member of ORTHOALLIANCE, an orthodontic
alliance of fi ve leading manufacturers in Germany, we are
working on the specifi c development of digital processes
and products in modern orthodontics to the benefi t of both,
clinician and patient.
Perfection is having a vision for the future

Whether a query about setting up your SCHEU-DENTAL
equipment such as the BIOSTAR® or a question relating to
specifi c applications – our staff in the Sales and Custo-
mer Service Departments are on hand with expert advice
at all times. We want you to take advantage of their
sound practical guidance from the outset – a service
that our customers can rely on whatever the problem.

for some years now our SCHEU-ACADEMY offers
training courses and seminars for dental clinicians
and technicians at a regular basis from courses on
CA® CLEAR ALIGNER, CMD and TAP® certifi cation to
our pressure moulding workshops. Why not get
acquainted with the latest developments in the practice
and learn how to achieve even more professional
results in the future?
Perfection you can rely on.

MENZANIUM®
MENZANIUM® is a nickel-free* alloy, fabricated in a patented high-pressure melting process replacing allergenic nickel components by manganese and nitrogen. Compared to conventional stainless steel wires, corrosion resistance and breaking strength are increased. Wire is available in two versions, hard (1400 –1600 N/mm2) and spring-hard (1800 – 2000 N/mm2).
MENZANIUM® Coil WireMENZANIUM® coil wire is diamond drawn and highly-polis-hed and can be used for joining techniques, laser-welding and welding. Measurements, tolerances and quality acc. to DIN EN ISO 15841.
* Nickel trace-elements of 0-0.2 % are possible due to material procesising.

The 3-Splint-System
Choosing the CA LAB option, all treatment steps from planning, set-up fabrication until realisation of the splint will be carried out in your practice or a certifi ed CA® laboratory of your choice. The necessary equipment consists of a pressure moulding unit type MINISTAR S® or BIOSTAR®, CA® material in soft, medium and hard as well as the CA® SMART software with web cam, CA® photo support and CA® checker.
Three material thicknesses, worn during four weeks for a unique and beautiful smile: with each treat-ment step, the patient wears three splints of various thickness. Thanks to the steady increase in pres-sure, teeth are effi ciently, yet smoothly aligned – with extraordinary comfort. The special design with additional covering of the gingival margin (2 –3 mm) increases power transmission, providing even more effi ciency in treatment.
