Mass Customization of Product
Newgen owns the IPR of all its products & solutions and thus can take customer feedback and make changes to the Product in long term as well as short term to serve any specific requirements of the customer. Newgen Team Support will be required in all such cases. Usually done in Million Dollar plus cases.
Partner resources can get skilled in providing L1 support to the customer going forward which involves supporting Production deployments. In addition, Partner technical resources can get Newgen API trainings to carry out simple implementation activities on their own.
Selling of Shrink Wrapped Products
Newgen has identified few products which it would like to sell as shrink wrapped
products. The core product will remain untouched in this case. OmniDocs, OmniScan
and SAP Certified image enablement tool are the three products in this category as of
now. Partner should be able to sell and support these products with minimal or no
support from Newgen. Business Partners can write add on applications with the help of
API’s if needed in some specific cases.
