Fromthe9thSeptember2014InternetExplorerhasstartedblockingoutofdateActiveXcontrolsrunningthroughanysecurityzoneexceptthe'Localintranet'orthe'Trustedsites'zoneswhenusingIE8orlater.TryingtorunanyJavacontentfromyourdesktopusingolderJREreleases,priortothelatestCPU'sonanyJREstream,throughanyotherzoneforexamplethe'Internet'zonewillnowbeblocked.ThisissuemaythereforeaffectOracleEBusinessSuiteuserstryingtoaccessformsandanyotherJavacontent.FurtherinformationonthislatestsecurityfeatureisavailablefromthisMicrosoftannouncementanditsassociatedlinks.

Oracle'srecommendationhasalwaysbeentorunOracleEBusinessSuitethroughthe'Trustedsites'zoneasoutlinedundertheInternetExplorer:RecommendedBrowserSettingssectionwithinthisdocument.UsersthathavefollowedthisadvisoryorruntheirenvironmentsthroughtheLocalIntranetzonewillnotbeaffectedbythischangewithinIE.
