There will be about fifteen billion devices connected by 2015, and around forty billion devices

By 2020 nodes/sensors will account for the majority (60 percent) of the total installed base of IoE

(Internet of Everything) devices. - ABI

That means 16 BILLION devices will need content in 2020.

And WordPress will be coming out and serving even more audiences and devices.

Open source is making inroads into larger groups often for a fairly simple reason.

It serves about 17% of the sites on the internet.

That’s a whole lot of users already trained on a CMS. User acceptance is easy.

So initial content is now created first in open source CMS’. Then will drive to the connected device

world.

During the talk if you were there this is where i told the funny story of prototyping a smart dog bowl in

six hours. I used Arduino, analog sensors, SensorMonkey, WordPress, and Good Barber.

(It was a good story)
