About Me

Hello, my name is Alison Wood and first I want to thank you fordownloading this free social media strategy planner.

Before we start I want to ask you one question - are you tired ofspending time on social media and yet never seeing the resultsyou want in terms of traffic and sales? Then you are in the rightplace because today I want to show you a different way

Five years ago I was in exactly the same position as you. I wasworking as an HR Manager for an international company in theUK and while I enjoyed some aspects of my job it wasn’tsomething that I could see myself doing until retirement. I hadsuch a passion to write, to teach and to live life on my ownterms – but I really just didn’t know where to start.

However, I knew I had to make a change and so I learned howto build websites – this suited me perfectly because I enjoyedthe visual creativity, a little bit of the tech side and most of all Icould write about subjects I loved. I built a craft site, one aboutpets (inspired by my house rabbit) and a few others in niches Ienjoyed. Building the sites was great, but there was oneessential component missing – and that was traffic. RememberI was doing this around my full time job. Therefore I didn’t havelots of spare time and I certainly didn’t have cash to spend onpaid forms of traffic – such as on and offline advertising.

The solution turned out to be social media and after muchtrial and error (and a few swear words and tears) I got to aplace where it was consistently bringing traffic to mybusiness – but more than that I found out what was effectiveso that I didn’t have to waste hours every day on it. As mysites and revenue grew it allowed me to give up my job andtake my business full time almost 3 years ago.

So what is number one on my list of things you need to doto be successful in your social media? Of course, you needto create a strategy.

That is exactly what we are going to do today - for the next3 months - and then you can rinse and repeat after you seewhat works and what doesn't work so well for you on socialmedia.

Finally, if you would like to get some more marketing, mindset and motivation tips from me for growing yourbusiness with joy, why not head over to my website:
