Saving the presentationSaving the presentationStart PowerPoint if is closed.On the standard toolbar, click the
Open button.Navigate to the Lesson08 folder in
the Presentation Fundamentals Practice folder, and then open the 08 PPT Lesson file.
On the File menu, click Save As, type Contoso Press 08 in the File name box, and then click Save.

you need;◦a sound card and ◦a speaker.
The above are output pieces of hardware
These make a presentation interesting.They can be added from;
◦ the Microsoft Clip Organizer or◦ from a file.

Practical example- adding Practical example- adding sound to a slide(s)sound to a slide(s)Make sure you are in the first
slide or slide 1. Check from the slide pane.
On the Slide show menu, click Slide Transition. The Slide transition task pane appears.
Click on Sound down arrow, and then click on Applause. The sound is applied to the first slide.

Now go into slide show. During the transition of the first slide show, the sound is played.
Press Esc on the keyboard.Move to slide 10.On the Insert menu, point to
Movies and Sounds, and then click Sound from Clip Organizer. The task pane appears.

In the Insert Clip Art task pane, scroll down the Results list, and the click any sound.
Click on Yes when a message box appears. A small icon appears.
Make sure to drag the icon to the lower-right corner of the slide.
Now double click the icon. A sound is played.

Action Settings. A dialog box appears.
Click the Mouse over Tab, and then click the Object action option from the list.
Click OK, and then click the Slide Show button to go into slide show.
