RECIDIVISM RATE • In 2005 the recidivism rate for youth referred to the Juvenile Delinquency

Unit was only 22%. That means that of the nearly 700 youth referred 78% of those youth had not reoffended within a year after their cases were closed, demonstrating that keeping kids in the communities produces positive outcomes.
