Dental Internship Program
Program OutlineThe Program aims at training Interns to achieve:• Improved Manual Clinical skills• Improved Communication skills• Improved Professional skills• Improved Time Management• Improved Critical Analysis and Presentation skills, namely:
Focused clinical objectives -Improved overall patient history taking, examination and diagnosis - Improved treatment planning - Appropriate management of acute Medical/ Dental emergencies - Control of pain & anxiety during Dental Therapies - Management of medically compromised patients - Management of intra oral soft tissues - Management of intra oral hard tissues - Management of the developing dentition - Restoration of primary dentition - Restoration of permanent dentition - Management of missing dentition - The approach to the management of Malocclusion - Complete oral rehabilitation.
Duration: One YearA Certificate of Completion is issued upon successful accomplishment of all components of the program.
Entrance Criteria:• UAE Nationals• Recognized Bachelor Dental Degree (BDS/ DDS) of minimum 5 years duration.• Date of applications will be open between June 17 to July 16, 2018
