SCtaN CIS 100 Specifications
The Qscan® Model QS 100 Automatic On-Line X-ray Inspection System is capable of detecting glass, metal (ferrous and non ferrous), stones, bone and other foreign contaminants inside filled and capped containers. It is a complete, turn-key automatic system that offers the following features:
• Operation at variable lines speeds of up to 1 100 cpm.
• Typical Performance in baby food jars: 98% Probability of Detection with 0.5% False Reject Rate on 3mm glass and 0.75mm metal (ferrous and non ferrous) contaminants.
• Requires less than 10 feet of conveyer line space.
• Fast and easy changeover from one container size to another. Minimal change parts required.
• User friendly, "touch screen”, menu driven operation.
• Statistical information is stored on a hard disk and can be transferred to hard copy via printer or backed up on a 3 72" disk drive.
• Self diagnostic software for easy troubleshooting.
• Designed specifically for the food plant environment, stainless steel construction and the system is hose down tolerant.
• X-ray is generated electronically and cabinetry conforms to federal standards for cabinet x-ray systems as required by 21CFR1020.40. As safe as watching a color TV in your living room.
