1. HSE accreditation - ISO14001 (Environment Management System) and ISO18001 (OSHAS)
2. Top Management Involvement in HSE – commitment well demonstrated in the HSE policy (emphasis on personal health and safety and extends to social responsibility)
3. Training program for all employees especially new recruits and internal transfers
4. Monthly safety safaris organised by HSE department involving senior managers from various departments including Quality, Production etc are carried out. The inspection team observes safety compliance generally by employees wearing protective equipment, workplace safety, hazards etc. NCRs are documented and reported to the General Manager. In addition, an annual internal audit is conducted by internal audit team and results of the internal audit are reported during management meeting chaired by the General Manager.
5. Performance indicators –
(a) Compliance with local regulations, NCR are 100% addressed
(b) Minor incident not more than 1 per month
(c) No major inquiry or loss of life
6. Environment protection - implement water recycle system to reduce water usage, waste are collected and handled according to environmental rules, especially chemicals.

Two axial gaps were chosen (0.002” and 0.006”) and secondary make-up was simulated. When made up, the connections are in compression thus the negative axial stress. At both axial gaps, the pin nose and box counterbore maximum axial stress is below the MYS of 130 ksi. Thus they do not yield at MUT.

Post Torque to Yield Inspection • Tool joints are durable
• All tested connections remain intact even when subjected to torque values beyond torsional limit
DPM-MT39 after being made-up to 40,293 ft.lbf. Note the increased diameter of the pin nose due to applied torque-stop compressive stress.
MT-57 Sample 3 after being made-up to 93,137 ft.lbf, beyond yield point without perceptible box swelling Arrow is pointing to a ridge or “fin” around the perimeter of the primary torque shoulder. This Fin is caused by compressive yielding of shoulder.
