AMAZING RESULTS AT GOLF
On Monday, we had 20 students take part in the annual Chalambar Golf Tournament in Ararat. It was a great day out for all students, enjoying the sunshine and avoiding the kangaroos. Overall, we had some wonderful results, with Jasmine taking out the girls competition and Ben coming 2nd in the boys competition.
Well done to everyone who completed.

Vintage Motorbike incursion
As part of the P-2 ‘Then and Now’ unit, we have been focussing on the
differences in what people used and had back ‘Then’ to what we have ‘Now’.
We have explored the differences between clothing, technology, food and
much more. Last week, the focus was on transport and we were lucky
enough to have Mr Wright’s Mother and Father bring in some of their
vintage motorbikes. The 4 motorbikes were from 103 years old to 51 years
old. Mrs Rush even wanted to take some children for a spin.
3/4 Science
This term, our Year 3/4’s have been learning all about the Sun, Moon and Earth. As a part of the unit,
each student has been creating a short presentation on their chosen topic. Presentations across the clas-
ses are occurring this week and students have been busy writing and creating a presentation that is both
informative and well presented.
This has been a fantastic opportunity for the students to practise a variety of skills from researching,
summarising information, creating visual aids, timing speeches, projecting their voice, improving eye
contact as well as improving their confidence when speaking aloud. They should be proud of their efforts
and I look forward to watching each student present their hard work!
