Where We Are
Program Information
Academic Calendar
EBS Law School offers its EBS Law Term once a
year during the fall semester. It is exclusively de-
signed for our international students and focusses
on a current topic of international business law.
Class format: lectures and seminars
Course load per semester: minimum 21 ECTS,
maximum 33 ECTS

Language of instruction: English
Certificate: Students are awarded the EBS Law
Term Certificate of Participation (including tran-
script) upon successful completion of the pro-
gram.
Study trips: EBS offers optional study trips to
significant institutions related to the focus of the
EBS Law Term; for example, to the European
Court of Justice in Luxembourg or the European
Parliament in Strasbourg.
International law firms: As a university with ex-
cellent corporate partners we usually offer a
workshop in an international law firm as part of
the EBS Law Term.

EBS Universität originated from the oldest and most
networked private business school in Germany and
has campuses located in both Wiesbaden as well as
Oestrich-Winkel.
The two faculties (business and law) have

EBS Law School is one of the top ranked law facul-

of legal professionals with a sound business educa-
tion. At the same time, the increasing complexity of
global markets presents a growing challenge for fu-

Nomination Procedure
The exchange coordinator of the home university
receives an email regarding the online nomination
procedure from the EBS International Programmes
Coordinator.
Nomination deadline: April 15
Application & Requirements
Nominated exchange students should be:
officially registered students at one of our partner
universities
in good academic standing
officially nominated by the home university
applicants must have completed at least one year
of a full-time undergraduate law programme or at
a graduate law school by the time the programme
begins
Nominated exchange students will receive an email
from the EBS International Programmes Office in-
cluding details of the online application procedure
and login data within 2-3 working days.
Students upload the following supporting documents
into the application system:

a copy of all university transcripts (in English)
proof of sufficient health insurance valid in
Germany/Europe for the entire stay at EBS

EBS offers a variety of services for its guest
students, such as
the International Programmes Office
the International Student Resort (ISR), which
helps to integrate the exchange students at EBS
a student buddy service organized by the ISR,
academic counselling

Housing
We do not offer on-campus housing, but our EBS
Housing Office will contact all students after
admission to provide assistance with accommoda-
tion.
This service works on a “first come first serve
basis”. Students receive emails with housing offers
after admission to EBS and reservation can be done
with the EBS Housing Coordinator.

Student Services Available
The EBS Law School campus is located in Wies-
baden, the state capital of Hessen. In less than 30
minutes you can reach Frankfurt, a renowned fi-
nancial and logistical hub, which makes it the per-
fect place for excursions to European institutions
as well as for exploring Europe!
