What Is The GREENGUARD® Certification Program? This Certification Program is a valuable tool for architects, de-
signers, product specifiers, and purchasing organi-zations who want to locate, specify, and purchase low-emitting products for indoor environments. The Children & Schools Certification Program provides the strictest guidelines specific to envi-ronments where growing children will be living, playing, and learning. GREENGUARD® Children & Schools Product Certification Program complies with the State of California’s Department of Health Services Standard Practice (CA Section 01350) for testing chemical emissions from building products used in schools. As such, GREENGUARD® Children & Schools Certified products can be used as a strategy to earn valuable credits in the CHPS Best Practices Manual for K-12 schools. GREENGUARD® Certified Products provide the added benefit of reducing and simplifying liability issues relating to air quality, that can arise from
new and existing construction projects.
Draper continues, through quarterly GREENGUARD®
Certification Program testing, to ensure that our
products maintain these standards.

About DraperThe Draper story begins in 1902 with our founder, Luther O.
Draper. Mr. Draper’s business philosophy was simple—to make
a quality product and sell it at a reasonable price. Draper
began manufacturing window shades for
schools, addressing the problems of heat and
glare in classrooms.
In 1957 Draper secured a patent on an affordable
classroom projection screen. Today, Draper
manufactures a full line of projection screens
and related products.
In 1994 Draper entered the gymnasium
equipment market and has since broadened that
line to include a full line of products for both
indoor and outdoor sports.
Today the company is a true global citizen, with
manufacturing facilities in Indiana, Ohio, and
Sweden and sales worldwide.
