Family and Friends Family and Friends
Don’t remember me with sadness,
Don’t remember me with tears,
Remember all the laughter,
We’ve shared throughout the years.
Now I am contented
That my life it was worthwhile,
Knowing as I passed along the way
I made somebody smile.
When you are walking down the street
And you’ve got me on your mind,
I’m walking in your footsteps
Only half a step behind.
So please don’t be unhappy
Just because I’m out of sight,
Remember that I’m with you
Each morning, noon and night.
The family the late Brittany Johnson wishes to express their heartfelt and sincere appreciation for the many beautiful acts of kindness, encouraging words, and most of all your prayers that have been extended to them during this most difficult time.

Brittany Johnson was born June 11, 1994 at King’s County Hospital in
Brooklyn, NY. Brittany was the beloved daughter of Tracey Johnson and
Kelvin Morris. Brittany departed this life and gained her wings on
Saturday, July 6, 2019.
Brittany’s educational journey started at P.S. 316, where she completed
Kindergarten through 7th grade. She continued her educational journey
in South Carolina when her family moved in November 2006. She
attended Hand and Hopkins Middle Schools, and graduated from Lower
Richland High School in 2012. Brittany went on to attend ECPI where she
obtained her Associate’s Degree in Health Science. Soon after, Brittany
landed a position in her career field at Carolina Gardens Assisted Living.
Although the residents gave her a run for her money, Brittany loved the
residents and her Carolina Gardens Family. Brittany knew she wanted
more out of life, for herself and her son. Brittany decided to pursue a
career as a social worker, attending CTU.
Brittany was an amazing being with a personality and smile to warm any
person’s heart. Not only was she a loving and dependable friend, most
importantly, she was a devoted mother to her son, and was a determined
and ambitious person who had a positive outlook on life and for her
future.
Brittany was proceeded in death by her grandfather, Edward Johnson
and her cousin Tyler Webster.
Brittany leaves her loving family and friends to cherish her precious
memories, including: her most amazing son, Messiah Jakobie Johnson
and his father DeVante Sims; her devoted parents, Tracey Johnson of
Columbia, SC and Kelvin (Rhonda) Morris of Columbus, Georgia; her
three loving brothers, Jonathan Frazier, Brandon Frazier, and Kelvin
Ferbee; one loving sister, Keyona Barnes; the most dearest to her heart,
her grandmother, Benzenia Johnson, her beloved nephews, Jalen Johnson
and Lil Frank; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Brittany
especially loved her special and devoted riders: Jasmine Johnson, (Ashley
Brown, Amie), Akeya Myers, Keba Johnson, Janice Glenn, Neijah Thomas,
Tutu Haggins, and Ravan Bouie.
Beautiful Soul
Here Today, Gone Tomorrow. That's what they say,
In an instant your beautiful soul was abruptly taken away.
Today has been forever changed
And our tomorrow will never be the same,
But when we are at our lowest,
We remember to call on Jesus Name!
For He is our comforter in this time of great grief,
The Only one who can bring us some type of relief.
There's nothing that can be said or done to ease this hurting pain,
But now our memories of you will always and forever remain.
The Love for your son was unmeasurable in every way,
Please know that he will be taken care of each and every day.
We will always remember your smile that lights up any room,
Your outgoing personality that gave us an extra Boom!
Your selfless ways and giving heart will
always be ingrained in our mind,
You my dear, Brittany with the beautiful soul,
were definitely one of a kind!
