caterer Loosely around thebase of the cake was draped whitetulle and smilax and at each end ofthe table was a tali crystal vase ofpink and white roses From thechandelier to the four corners of thetable and ending in large bowswere streamers of wide pink andwhite ribuon The place cards werehand painted in pink rose buds andthe monogram A C in one cor¬

ner was done in gold and each eon ¬

tained an appropriate rhyme painted-in gold The cards at the places ofthe bride and groom were heartshaped and contained the following-very suggestive verses
