Our Simulation Teaching And Research (STAR) Center provides the innovative resources and technologies you need to be prepared for a future in healthcare.

Campus. In motion. FIU’s campuses are active, lively, and fi lled with unlimited

opportunities. Our 344-acre Modesto A. Maidique Campus is 10

miles from downtown Miami. Our 200-acre, waterfront Biscayne Bay

Campus is seven miles from downtown Miami, on the Intracoastal

in North Miami. Th ese two campuses are linked by

a continuous shuttle service. FIU also includes

the Engineering Center, our 40-acre major

research facility near the Modesto A.
