General Situation
• (EXERCISE//UNCLASS//EXERCISE) AQAP forces have increased their presence throughout Yemen; recently spreading their influence within the Hudaydah province. The AQAP has been operating autonomously throughout Yemen; decreasing the ability to be tracked by a higher entity. The AQAP has began to target U.S. personnel causing a dangerous atmosphere for AMCITS.
• (EXERCISE//UNCLASS//EXERCISE) Multiple source reporting suggests the AQAP have recently began operations in the Hudaydah, however, their exact disposition is unknown.

EXERCISE//UNCLASS//EXERCISE
Attack:
The enemy will attack using non conventional style tactics; briefly engaging in small arms fires in small fire team size units. The enemy is not capable of sustaining attacks longer than 30 minutes without resupply.
Defend:
The enemy is unlikely to defend from fortified locations. However, if defending key terrain, the enemy will likely attempt to assume a defensive posture in order to maintain control of locations that could possibly house any logistical supplies.
Reinforce:
The enemy has a limited capacity to reinforce, being fairly new to there region with a limited number of personnel. The AQAP does, however, maintain ties to external organizations which may possibly provide logistical and personnel support.
Retrograde:
Given the opportunity, the enemy will retrograde into the hills and populated areas immediately following engagement. The enemy will capitalize on their ability to blend in with the local populace as means of retrograde.
