Welcome to the Capital One/Junior
Achievement Finance Park ExperienceCapital One/Junior Achievement Finance Park provides a practical,
hands-on, personal budgeting simulation for middle school students.
The Finance Park shops and equipment were permanently gifted to JA of
Central Virginia in 2011.
Classroom
Students are introduced to the program
and are assigned their real-life adult scenario: salary, dependents, family
requirements.
Park Students build their monthly budget by
managing expenses at each storefront.
Storefronts represent corporate-branded
shops matched to the students’ budget
line-items.
Check-out
Each student completes the final steps of
balancing their budget.
