Why Bamenda should lead

Unnoticed had it not been for
the hard work of Cho Lucas
Ayaba and others who went
through frustrated procedures
to invite the BBC, CNN, CBS
and the use of other social
media to send out the message.
The decision by some of our
leaders to go to the Nigerian
consulate instead of resisting
the blockade on the home of
Pa Njoh Litumbe was
frustrating. Feasting in the
restaurant of police barracks
was a sign of weakness and the
absence of a plan B after one
year of preparation is
unforgiveable.

President Paul Biya of Cameroon remainsindifferent as he has always been as
voting for the October 9th, 2011 draws to
its conclusion. While Opposition John Fru
Ndi of the SDF has gone pass all 10
regions with ventures even in the remote
parts of Cameroon most populous
Region Maroua, Biya only came out of
criticism from his own party the CPDM to
make three adventures to Maroua in an
attempt to contain the massive defection
from his party to the SDF; and Douala
which is the commercial capital of
Cameroon. But his trip to Douala was to
wipe out the lousiness of his military whocould not even contain the actions of one
of its rebellious soldier who shot down the
Bonaberi bridge for hours and is planning
to come back should the elections be
rigged. His trip to Kribi is a bluff and can
be measured to his 1992 Douala trip after
The City was overwhelmed by the
opposition SDF. At night fall and counting
almost complete, the road to an official
declaration of the winner is 15 days away.
This technique is not guided by
infrastructure problems, but carefully
crafted by the regime’s constitution so as
to give enough time f or ELECAM, MINATand the Supreme Court to falsify the
tallying sheets for a convincing 99.99% for
Mr. Biya. Is this Laurent Gbagbo in the
making? Will the French and the US
remain indifferent? Let’s watch as the
drama unfolds.
Cameroon’ s history
At 10.00 am, I was on thephone with the NationalSecretary General of theSCYL, when he linked me upwith Pa Mola Njoh Litumbe. I
had a 10 minutes video Skypechat with Mola and he briefedme about the tense nature inBuea and him placed underhouse arrest while some 100more had sought refuge at theNigerian consulate in Bueaand another 300 more underdetention at the police and orgendarme stations.Remember that when Biyacame to Bamenda to celebratethe 50
thAnniversary of la
republique’s annexation of theSouthern Cameroons, it wasfull of pump and he evenextended his visit for a safariwith John Fru Ndi. It wasrather disheartening that the50

Cameroons enslavement toFrance and Francophone
Cameroon almost went
The full out of this campaign
and the attitude of other
leaders not weighing in is clear
proof of our grid and power
struggle.

that ca n rescue Ca meroon
if given the chanc e. The election in Cameroon is a
forgone conclusion, but if fate
has to settle for Cameroon this
2011, there is no other hope
than the man who knows
Cameroon to well. Short of
any public administrative
experience, John Fru Ndi
commands the peoples
experience and is the only
person in Cameroon that has
slept and dinned in
Cameroons 157 division. As
an opposition leader with
almost no resources, he has
made more than 5 complete
meet the peoples tour in
almost every village in
Cameroon and knows the
people by their names and
Biya has denied the Diaspora
the chance to enjoy a double
nationality. It is obvious these
are his worst enemies and if
giving the chance to participate
in deciding who should be
president, then he would have
long been out of Etoudi. Millions
of these Cameroon Diasporas
were pushed into unsolicited
exile by the same Biya
immediately he took office till
date and none knows when the
date of return will come. This is
very evident because at the age
of 80, Biya after 28 years have
carefully crafted out his empire
with himself as Emperor
Mvondo 1st.

When President Paul Biya
plotted the overthrow of former
president Amadou Ahidjo
through a French sponsored
coupe d-etat on November 4th,
1982, there was every
indication from his first day in
office from November 6th, 1982
that he would likely give up
power so easily. This is the
reason why he faked a second
coupe d’état on April 4th, 1984,
which triggered in his well
planned intentions to consume
the entire Southern Cameroons
into his planned Kingdom. In
other to weed out any internal
opposition, he carefully stage
his own death in an attempt to
Send all his opponents to jail
thereby ascending after the
2011 October presidential as
Emperor Biya I of Cameroon.
To put more sense into this
ambition, Biya’s tactical
isolation of the only 2
Anglophone provinces in
Cameroon is ample evidence of
his secret pact with France to
wholly assimilate the Southern
Cameroons into full flesh
citizens of la republique du
Cameroun on October 10TH
,
2011.Before the planned
developments of an
Anglophone 50th
anniversary of
Southern Cameroons on
October 1, Biya stole the
opportunity at the Wouri to send
in his so called Rapid
Intervention Battalion (BILL)
into
Buea capital, to prevent any
Anglophone mass mobilisation.
Before hand, he destroyed John
Fru Ndi’s best chance of
replacing him by convincing him
into an unholy alliance which is
now being exploited by his
campaign teams in the field
who are deceiving old mothers
and fathers that Fru Ndi and
Biya have come into an alliance
where Biya will be crown
emperor and Fru Ndi the Duke.
In an effort to dislodged this
diatribe, ECFA and the Biya
Must go Movement is already in
mobilisation to unlash havoc
should France instead of
repeating its actions in Cote
D’ivoire, ally with Biya at the
detriment of Cameroonians.
The motto is, either Biya
accepts to surrender power
voluntarily or Cameroon will be
rendered ungovernable. It is
simply a time bomb which only
Biya can avert to give
Cameroon the peace she so
much deserve. Let his put
country over greed and
patriotism over emotions. This
no more 7 years revolution will
be one that knows no barrier,
no language, no village and no
religion. If it is on the streets,
the Biya must go movement is
ready, if it is full scale war, we
shall use their guns to chase
them out of power. There is no
room for further manipulation and
traitors shall be treated with same
severity as everyone must show
commitment for this revolution.

Bamenda is
Biya’s worst
fear & enemy
Bamenda — is the home of
opposition SDF and John Fru
Ndi. It was this town that stood
up in October 1992 to say no
to Biya after he rigged the
presidential elections Fru Ndi
claimed to have won. Known
for its no nonsense attitude but
very welcoming people, this
town has passed through the
test of time and has survived
through the initiative of its
industrious people after Biya
declared it ‘enemy of the state
of Cameroun’
It was in Bamenda that the test
of Biya’s strength has been
done twice. First was after the
declaration of the presidential
elections of 1992 and the
second in March of 1997 by
the Southern
Cameroons Youth League
(SCYL) in which it battled
Biya’s soldiers on an open
street war that held the entire
province hostage stretching
from Kumbo to Mbengwi and
ending at Bafut.
Biya knows this town too well
and he is trying all in his
powers to woe Fru Ndi to his
side if his dreams of another 7
years must be a reality.
Despite the calmness in the
City of Bamenda, the country
knows very well that it will takebut seconds for the town and
this time the entire country to
be gripped by the anger of an
abandoned people. After 19
years, Bamenda says it has
the solution for Cameroon’s
problems be it on national
integration or unconditional
secession. Is just an issue of
time.
