Services for GE1/1 Project
• During LS1 I have to install and commission all the services needed for the CY2016 slice test
• Gas and Cooling are defined.• Cables and connections are still under
discussions.– HV lines – Defined OK– Fiber cables – Not defined yet.– LV lines – Not defined yet.– Cu Lines for control and signals – Not defined yet.

To Summaries
• In order to have the cable services installed in time we should freeze the floating points above very soon.
• Routing of spare lines can be an option.• Once we declare our cable schema in front of
the CMS coordinators there will be no change after.

Development of the Multilayer GEM PCB
• A small 30x30 cm^2 strips board was fabricated• The design of a trial 30x30 cm^2 multilayer PCB is
under way. A electrical diagram for the connections needs to be made ASAP.
• If the noise tests are showing no perturbation of the signal due to the VFAT digital activity we can launch the design of the full-size Multilayer GEM PCB for connections and Power.
