3 • Host University sends you acceptance letter with I-20
4 • Use your I-20 to apply for an visa interview and obtain a full-
time student visa
5 • Purchase your flights
6 • Secure housing for your stay
7 • Study in the USA!

1 • Upload/Provide I-20 Documents to Host University
2 • I-20s will be sent to OGEM. Await our email to collect the I-20
3 • Complete DS-160 Online Visa Application
4 • Print out the copy of the completed form
5 • Pay SEVIS fee (US$180) and print proof of payment
6 • Pay student visa payment (S$208) at any Standard Chartered
Bank branches
7 • Schedule a group interview on assigned date given by NTU
1 • Upload/Provide I-20 Documents to Host University

An interview date/time will be assigned to you by GEM Discoverer.
Wait 4-5 hours from the time of visa fee payment before scheduling an interview slot assigned to you.

Class Performance & Grading of Courses
Feedback from Host Universities
Letter Grading is needed for those taking UGBA 151 - Human resources course in Berkeley. NTU will only require a pass grade in order to transfer the AUs.

Acceptable documents include NTU bridging program certificate of completion, if TOEFL or IELTS is not feasible prior to departure
For UCLA participants, you will receive a Statement of English Proficiency via email from Friday 28 onwards.

Q: I have not received the CalNet ID after submitting the Application Form
A: You will receive your Confirmed Class Schedule confirming your enrollment within 2 weeks. Thereafter, create your CalNet ID and upload the required documents for I-20.
UC Los Angeles common question
Q: Should I upload the required documents for I-20 after creating MyUCLA account?
A: Yes. Please proceed to upload electronic copies of required documents to the I-20 portal.
