CONVENTION BUREAU GENOVA, THROUGH THE EXCLUSIVE AGREEMENT SIGNED
WITH THE MUNICIPALITY OF GENOVA, CAN SUPPORT THE CANDIDATURE OF THE
CITY THROUGH THE FOLLOWING BENEFITS
• ensure the Insititutional support to the candidature (a letter of invitation to be
included in the application document and ensure the presence of the Mayor or
of the Councilor of Tourism and Culture of the Municipality of Genova at the
official presentation of the candidature of thedestination);
• spread the information of the Congress through the press office and media
channels of the Municipality;
• provide bureaucratic facilities regarding transit and parking in limited traffic areas
in favor for the congress organizers and for the partners of Convention Bureau Genova;
• provide informative about the City of Genova;
• ensure the presence and the welcome by a local authority at the opening ceremony;
• prepare a welcome letter to be included in the program of the participants;
• provide 30 free entry to the Civic Museums of Genova, with the indication by the
Convention Bureau Genova of the list names (Board Meeting, Speakers VIP);
• provide free institutional spaces (“Salone di Rappresentanza” at Palazzo Tursi,
seat of the Municipality of Genova) to welcome events for up to 80 pax and
subject to availability;
• apply a reduced rate to the entrance to the Civic Museums of Genova in favor of
the participants in possession of the registration badge to the conference.

AMBASSADOR CLUBIt is an initiative addressed to local personalities with a
strong sense of belonging to the city who perceive the
increase of Genova’s congress tourism as a driving force
for the economy growth of the city. The Club consists of
the local personalities who hold key roles in their
respective fields and have a wide network of national and
international relations. The role of the Ambassadors is to
propose the city as a destination for the congress they
promote. Convention Bureau Genova will assist the
Ambassadors in each step of the project, from the
candidature to the organization of the event
