The ship had rocks in it to balance out the weight of the cannons, this is the original ship.

Mary Duane’s Dress

This is the dress Mary Duane, wife of the New York mayor, wore during George’s inauguration. New York was the nations capitol at the time. Martha Washington did not attend the ceremony, her husband went with out her. She stayed in Mount Vernon while he traveled to New York.
