• Being overweight makes one prone to hypertension, diabetes, heart diseases, sexual dysfunction etc.

• How to measure? Just checking weight is not the correct measure. Regularly monitor BMI

• Being obese slows you down, which in turn burns even lesser calories

• This hampers flexibility around joints and eventually leads to fatigue & joint ailments.

• Clothes have a better fit on a person with more balanced proportion

• Being obese can lead to depression due to a feeling of inadequacy.

Watch what you eat.• Eat natural as much as possible – Avoid packed food• Avoid Sugar• Scale down on carbohydrate rich food• Increase your protein and mineral intake

Cardiovascular Exercise• Do any exercise that pushes your heart rate to

your Target heart rate. You should just about get breathless. (Consult physician)

• Treadmill, Cross trainer, Cycling, Jogging, Brisk walking, running etc.

Weight Training• Moderate weight training should be a part of

everyday routine.• It helps tone the muscles and shapes the body• To build muscle needs dedication and discipline.
