• Established in 1990, Gürmetal is Turkey’s leading investment casting company with
strong track record in steel , stainless steel , aluminum as well as titanium and nickel
based super alloy cast parts

NEW INVESTMENTS AT GÜRMETAL
• Gürmetal has been working to develop vacuum casting capabilities since
2011 to expand its offering in the aerospace sector with higher value
added products
• In 2012 , Gürmetal management decided to invest in both Titanium and
Nickel (superalloy) vacuum casting. Construction of a new 9000 m2
production facility was initiated in 2013
• In 2016 , Gürmetal installed three vacuum casting furnaces:
• 50 kg Titanium vacuum casting furnace for small parts
• 200 kg Titanium vacuum casting furnace for more complex parts
• 200 kg Nickel (superalloy) vacuum casting furnace
• Gürmetal is already engaged in projects with various parties for the
production of Titanium and Nickel (equiax , DS and SX) cast parts
• Gürmetal has engaged European experts for the timely introduction of
necessary casting capabilities at highest quality level

has been installed at Gürmetal’s new
factory as of February 2015

• The casting capacity of the furnace is up
to 1,4m in diameter , 1,4m height and 100

centrifugal casting

of an engine front frame as part of an
R&D project with TEI (GE’s partner in
Turkey)
NICKEL VACUUM CASTING – 200 kg
