Will ¿CUÁNDO SE USA WILL? 1. Para hablar de eventos futuros. Aparece con expresiones
como tomorrow (mañana) o next (la /el próximo) The class will finish at 5 p.m. (La clase acabará a las 5)
Next month I'll be in Ireland. (El mes que viene estaré en
Irlanda)
At 11 o'clock tomorrow, I will be at work. (Mañana a las
11 estaré en el trabajo)
Tomorrow it will be sunny (Mañana hará sol)
She'll be 20 in June (Cumplirá 20 años en junio)
3. Para hacer predicciones basadas en opiniones personales.
In 2030, DVDs will disappear (En 2030 los DVD
desaparecerán) (no sabemos seguro si esto ocurrirá)
I'll have breakfast in bed. (desayunaré en la cama)
5. Para hacer promesas
I'll visit you next week (Te visitaré la semana que viene)
6. Para ofrecer algo.
I'll help you (Te ayudaré)
I'll carry those bags (llevaré yo esas bolsas)

7. Para pedir que alguien haga algo
Will you collect my suit from the drycleaner's please?
(¿Podrías recoger mi traje de la tintorería?)
expresiones como: I think, I hope, I expect, probably o maybe.
I think I will stay in and watch TV this evening (Creo que
I don't think she will pass the exam (No creo que apruebe
el examen)
Do you think the exam will be easy? (¿Crees que el
examen será fácil?)
I expect he'll arrive late (Creo que llegará tarde)
I'll probably drive there (probablemente iré en coche)
She won't probably arrive on time (probablemente no
llegue puntual)
Maybe I'll go shopping tomorrow (quizás vaya de
compras mañana)
9. Con la expresión: be sure + sujeto + will.
I'm sure you'll pass. (estoy segura de que aprobarás)
¿CÓMO SE FORMA? AFIRMATIVAS:
Sujeto + WILL + infinitivo sin to La forma contraída se expresa con apóstrofe y doble "l" = 'll y se usa en situaciones informales.
I will go = I'll go ( yo iré)
You will go = You'll go (tú irás / vosotros iréis)
He/She/it will go = He'll /She'll / It'll go (él / ella / eso irá)
We will go = We'll go (nosotros iremos)
They will go = They'll go (ellos irán)

NEGATIVAS:
Sujeto + WILL NOT/WON’T + infinitivo sin to
I will not run = I won't run (yo no correré) You will not run = You won't run (tú no correrás / vosotros no correréis) He/She/It will not run = He won't run/She won't run /It won't run (él / ella / eso no correrá) We will not run = We won't run (nosotros no correremos) They will not run = They won't run (ellos no correrán)
INTERROGATIVAS:
WILL + sujeto + infinitivo sin to
Will you come? (¿vendrás tú? / ¿vendréis vosotros?) Will he / she / it come? (¿vendrá él / ella / eso?) Will we come? (¿vendremos nosotros?) Will they come?
Yo leeré este articulo por 5 minutos I will read this article for 5 minutes

Future Time Clauses (after,
when, If, As soon as)
It was raining (independent clause) when I left the house this morning. (dependent clause)
She went home early (independent clause) because she didn't feel well. (dependent clause)

When I left the house this morning, it was raining. .)
Because she didn't feel well, she went home early.
- Main clause: se utiliza "will" o "going to"

USED TO
¿CUÁNDO USAMOS “USED TO”? Usamos used to para hablar de hábitos, estados o acciones
Used to / Would.
hacemos.
Por ejemplo:
Hábito: I used to collect trading cards when I was a child
Estado: My friends used to be crazy about the Spice Girls
Acción: My teacher used to say "sit down and shut up" (mi
AFIRMATIVAS:
Sujeto + USED TO + infinitivo We used to go to the beach every summer when I was
verano.)
I used to play football = (Yo solía jugar fútbol)
He/She/it used to go = (él / ella / eso solía ir)

Defining relative clauses
PRONOMBRES RELATIVOS:
THAT (PERSONA O COSA)
Comparemos:
This is the woman that sells flowers (person)
VS
These are the flowers that she gave me (thing)
¡OJO!
WHO (PERSONAS)
Únicamente se usa para referirse a personas. Puede
desempeñar función de objeto o de sujeto.
Ejemplo:
The girl who works at the supermarket is ill

WICH (ANIMALES Y COSAS)

sujeto y de objeto.

The pen which you gave me doesn’t work
(El boli que me diste no funciona)
WHOM (OBJETO INDIRECTO)
indirecto.
The people with whom I work are always late
That is the girl whose brother is in my class

This is the reason why I love English

After she had finished her sandwich, she brushed her
teeth.
They had been friends for a long time before
they got married.

casarse)

2. El verbo principal se sustituye por el auxiliar "to be", en su mismo tiempo, junto al verbo principal en participio.

WILL AND MIGHT FOR FUTURE POSSIBILITY
WILL Y GOING TO: ‘Will’ tiene un uso en común con ‘going to’ .
They’re going to win. They’ve scored 5 goals – Van a
ganar, han marcado 5 goles
He’s going to be the next major. Everybody likes him –
