SUMMARY

Developed a brand overhaul for a fast-growing biotech company, including web and social, digital applications, and UX strategy. The identity reflects on the company’s broad needs and diverse customer base. With 8 main service lines and over 10+ sub services within each, we needed to simplify the user journey and flow without losing quality.

I learned that we do not sell visual products. The most effective way to reach the broad scientific audience is by making data visual and simplistic. After research and mapping our customer journey, we found out that heavy content isn’t always an effective way to market to the scientific audience. In the U.S. and Europe, the majority of biotech customers already know what they what in terms of services.

This lead to the conclusion that though each service offering is very different in product, they all share the same approach in content. Thus, we had the opportunity to create a more digestible information architecture.

GOAL

Decrease website bounce rate

WIREFRAME & PROTOTYPING

I created many interations of wireframes for this project.I also created user flows and journey visuals for business leads and our development team to review and edit before implementation. After a few iterations, I set up a prototype in InVision, which was reviewed internally and used for usability testing for a select few VIP customers.

SUMMARY

If you’ve played sports videos games over the years, you can understand that most are designed around the casual gamer. While that does have its benefits, it can leave a lot to be desired.

After meeting with users from the gaming community, we discovered a untouched area in not only our game but football gaming in general. The users couldn’t experience the effects of a real economy, along their players’ abilities and worth. They also could not play a role in how they managed their team during and off season.

I learned that in order to increase replay value, we needed to define areas of importance that the user would need to manage in order for their franchise to operate effectively. This, along with implementing accurate gameplay outcomes based on player data and archetypes, and economic factors with non-scripted unexpected outcomes, allow for the user to obtain more realistic results throughout the season.

GOAL

Increase revenue and user satisfaction

WIREFRAME & PROTOTYPING

I created many interations of wireframes for specific areas of this project. I also created a user flow/journey plus a functioning prototype for the producer and developers to review and edit. After a few iterations, we shared the prototype with a small select group of users for usability testing.

SUMMARY

Developed a case study for an air travel planning app called Happyflight. The technology would allow you to check into your flight via account login or by scanning a boarding pass. Based on the information input by the user, they can receive a detailed potential turbulence forecast based on their route.

I learned that the majority of uneasy flyers are triggered by the fear of the unknown when up in the sky. Events such as turbulence can happen suddenly with no explanation. While anything can happen, I found out that it would be more comforting if they knew the potential scenarios throughout their flight’s timeline.

In conclusion, understanding aviation can be complicated for the average person. Giving the user a easy to digest technical understading of their flight would offer a higher chance of comfort and ease when traveling in the sky.

GOAL

Show users potential turbulence forecast predictions for their flight path to their destination by direct input or boarding pass.
