located in San Juan proper ( Crisostomo Annex)
and one class was located in a rented house in
Manila Rail Road (MRR). In 1965 three more
classes were organized M. In 1966 a two- room
army type building was constructed under the
leadership of Councilman Sevando De Guzman.

Marcos Type Building (leftside)
San Juan Barrio School has two separate building by the year 1969 with one school
head. The distance between St. Francis and MRR was quite far and the head teacher of San
Juan Barrio School had a hard time in supervising the two schools, thru the help of the new
supervisor, Mrs. Jesusa Tanyag teacher in charge was appointed in school thus making
independent school now bearing the name of San Juan Elementary School.
In 1970, another six rooms Marcos type building was built at St. Francis but still the school
has to rent more rooms to accommodate the increasing enrolment. Due to lack of rooms the school
at St. Francis, thru the help ofParent- Teacher Association (PTA) constructed a temporary five
rooms Shed Adjacent to the first Marcos type building. In 1975 the principal of both school
were at the same time promoted to other district thus leaving the school to specially
appointed teacher in charge.
In October 1975, Mr. Servito De Jesus took over San Juan Elementary School and Mr
Esmenia Reyes took over San Juan Elementary School U-1 in 1978. Both schools have eac
Bagong Lipunan Building with three rooms in each building. Another Unit 1 Bagong Lipuna
building was constructed with three rooms in the year 1980.
On November 24, the principal, Mr. Servito C. De Jesus had his stroke right in his
office and unluckily he was not able to survive and died on November 28, 1980. In his
absence the acting assistant principal, Mrs. Rosita Santos took over until a new principal
Mrs. Erlinda B. De Leon came on August 4, 1981.
Under the supervision of the dynamic principal, San Juan Elementary School has
improved and developed due to the increase of enrolment. Mrs. De Leon was promoted in
1985. Mrs. Noime O. Guerrero preceded her. Under her supervision, six room Rodriguez
building and eight room San Juan building were built. She retired and replaced by Mrs.
Susana Abiog, stayed for a short period of time because she was promoted in 1993. Mrs.
Lourdes Ison took her place who stayed for three years.
