● Elements of control and distribution panel are:● PCS (ICP): Power Control Switch, controls that

consumed power not exceeds the maximum contracted power by user. It is sealed by provider company.

● AMS (IGA): Automatic Main Switch, protects an installation against high intensities and shortcuts.

● RCD (ID): Residual Current Device, is a security switch that disconnects all the home installation when there is any earth fault.

● MCB (PIA): Miniature Circuit Breaker, exists one by each internal circuit, protects each circuit against overloads and shortcuts. It allows disconnect zones individually.

● The number of MCBs in the control and distribution panel depends on the metering type (with or without time discrimination) and the electrification level of the home.
