Apart fromdesigning and trend forecasts, we alsohelp artisans by providing them skilldevelopment workshops and similarassistance. In the IHGF Spring thisyear, we have almost 2524 exhibitorsincluding the mart owners. Theresponse from buyers is very good. Theexhibitors must keep refreshing theirproducts and keep innovating to makesure that the buyers stay interestedand many have learnt this. Our exporters are also gettingaccess to new and emerging markets;exports to China have also increased.Another favorable pointer is thatdemand from USA, which is a longterm buyer, is also increasing.

Spring Fair is the oldest IHGFfair. It is a prime fair in termsof its line of products. Onlythose with serious buying intentcome to this fair. So in termsof business we are much focusedin this fair. Scheduling of IHGFSpring and Autumn fairs fall inthe international fair circuit.Though it is difficult for Indianexhibitors to manage two fairsin such a short span but beingin the circuit brings satisfactory
footfall. I strongly believe that by the end ofspring’15 we will be able to meet our goals. We arepositive about the outputs. As exporters we aretrying to become country specific so that we canattract focused footfall.

The timing of Spring fair primarilyattracts those with serious buying intent
We are getting tremendousresponse from buyers in thisedition of IHGF, mainly becauseexhibitors have come up withfresh designs, be it their boothsin the fair area or theirproducts. Buyers from the USAare also increasing in numbersagain. EPCH has closely workedwith NCDPD all through lastyear and that has yieldedpositive results. The Coastal
theme and the Indigo blue colour are in vogue in theinternational markets and our exporters havedesigned their products accordingly. Thisunderstanding of trends was given to the exporters byEPCH organized seminars in places like Firozabad,Agra, Saharanpur, Meerut, Aligarh, etc. Along withour regular customers from countries like USA,Australia and European region, we are focusing onattracting buyers from Latin American Countries andto expand our reach in these markets. Exporters aredoing well in terms of design and materials and canimprove if technology is upgraded and help isprovided to the artisans in form of machines andtools. There is freshness in the fair this time and theMarts are also witnessing much higher footfall.

Better finishing, exclusivity & aesthetic valueI come here for the first time and I have great respect for the
Indian Civilization. Everyone in Tunisiaknows about India and its culture. Wehave Indian shops across our country, especially Indian restaurants that are foundeverywhere. Women too have greatadmiration for Indian clothes and they arevery fond of wearing sarees. I specialize inpolitics and economy and feel that India ismaking a great progress. It is fast andeveryone over here has a great mind. It'swonderful to be here in this fair. Althoughwe have handicrafts made in Tunisia also
but it's India which I find to be more attractive. The reason forthis is that India has a mix of past and present. The newgovernment has taken up great measures to attract global buyerswhich I feel would certainly boost Indian economy. India has agreat future in handicrafts business and I hope the Indian marketgrows up with rapid speed.
Hope for good to and fro trade between
both countries to better trade relationsIndian products are not much popular in theCambodian market and the trade relation isnot that well-coordinated. Indian films arevery popular in our country and so should bethe products. It is a very good opportunityfor me to come here and have a look atIndian products, so that people over there inmy country get more knowledge about it. Inour country, there is no organization whichfocuses on handicrafts and its promotionlike India's EPCH. According to me if Indianproducts are sold in our market, the
demand of home décor will be more. I hope for a good to and frotrade between the countries to better trade relations.
Adel Essid TayariAchourouk-Journalist,Tunisia
Better finishing, exclusivity & aesthetic valueThis is my first visit to IHGF. I am amazedat Indian handicrafts and am surprised attheir perfection. In fact, I had to confirmwith some exhibitors if their products wereactually handmade. I find the fair quitehuge compared to other global fairs. Atpresent, there are not much Indianproducts in the Suriname market. Onlyfew religious articles such as statues ofIndian gods, etc. are in demand in there. But I am so pleased with Indian handicraftsthat I shall promote them back home. Dueto Suriname's developing economy, not
many people can buy expensive Indian handicrafts. However, Ifeel there is a need to expand the market for India and otherAsian countries and lessen the effect of western products. I alsofeel that Indian products are better than Chinese because of betterfinishing, exclusivity and the aesthetic value attached to them.
Indian textiles and accessories could be
popular in Zimbabwe
People in our country like dressing up andputting up accessories and so Indian textilesand accessories would be among hits inZimbabwe. We have a trade fair in ourcountry every year in the month of April andonly few Indian products are sold there. Iwould like to see more Indian products in thefair so that people get a chance to knowmore about what is available here. Ourcountry has a huge market for handicraftsand so India should export hand-craftedmaterials to our country. We import products
from China and they are not of best quality so we would like to seemore of Indian products in our country. And yes, I would like to seemore co-ordination in terms of trade between the two countries.
Appreciate Indian government's efforts to
promote tradeAs it is my first experience at visiting this fair,I am quite bewildered to see Indianhandicrafts. The fair is huge with a number ofproducts. I majorly liked the scarves, lampsand home décor products. In Vietnam, thereis already a market for Indian textiles. But Iwould like to see Indian handicrafts gettingavailable in Vietnam. Vietnamese useproducts made from bamboo for home décor.I also liked the accessories made from woodmaterial in the fair. There are accessoriesfrom India in the Vietnamese market but
jewellery of wood will be an addition. I appreciate the Indiangovernment's efforts to let the foreign markets enter their countryand promote trade. I rate this fair 8 out of 10.
Papier mache and wooden handicraftscaught my fancy
I will really be happy to visit India onceagain. Before this I have been to China andother South Asian countries. The differencethat India has is its different types ofhandmade products, particularly the papiermache and wooden handicrafts that caughtmy fancy as unique items. Apart from thesethings I liked the metal products, especiallycopperwares. Our country has a greatmarket for Indian textiles and carpetsbecause of their unique designs. Also thatdesigns can be accomplished as percustomers' order is a fact that attracts manybuyers here. I feel that it's China with whichIndia has direct competition.

It's really "incredible India”
I have been to Paris and other countries but itsIndia where I find people more welcoming. Notonly are the products wonderful but also thestory behind them. People not only speak abouttheir products but also share the history that isbehind them. Indian products are unique in theinternational markets and India produces itsown designs as well as custom designs as perbuyer demands. One can buy stuff fromanywhere across the globe but if one wishes tobuy something special they look forward toIndia. I really liked the traditional home decorand jewellery. I feel India is moving in the right
track and is going to be a major global market that will attract moreglobal buyers. We have handicrafts in Brazil as well but Indiandesigns are really different. There are stores in Brazil that sell Indiangoods with Brazilian label (secretly) but when we talk to them we getto know that they are Indian products. It's a guarded secret.
Indian products are original and special Among famous Indian products inour country are textiles, leather, perfume, pearls, incense sticks andfragrant candles. We believe Indianproducts are original and special andtraders would like to buy them. Sothere should be more promotion ofthe products in our country. In factnot just products but Indian food andyoga are also popular in our country. We would like to see more tradeflourishing between India andKyrgyzstan. Also, there should beretail facility at IHGF.

Big move for ecological products in S. AfricaIndian products find a special place in our country because of
ethnicity and international packaging, areason why India has managed to growenormously and is making billions from ourmarket. Also, the ban on import fromChina has allowed Indians to cover a largerchunk. The quality of Indian productsmakes much sense in our market andtraditional Indian design has a larger share. As there is big move for ecologicalproducts in our country it adds on thedemand for Indian Handicrafts, that is avery niche market right now. Due to theprevalent class difference in S.A. only the
rich can afford majority of Indian handicrafts. Indian clothing-fabric and design are amazing. Though we don't have muchdemand of furniture in S.A. but they are impressive.

It's my first visit to IHGF. I loved theproducts on display. Russian people havegreat respect for Indian handicrafts, perfumes and sculptures. Some of theproducts that I saw, like drapers, lights andlamp shades are very marketable in Russia. Some segments of the Russian market arealmost monopolized, but in segments liketextiles and home décor, there is a scopefor Indian manufacturers to expand. Theproducts from Indian exporters are priced alittle too high for the Russian market andsome of the products are bit Western.

Sessions & Seminars
An informative seminar was organized in the board room to makeexporters aware about the export strategies and opportunities in LatinAmerican Countries. Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, IEML and ExecutiveDirector, EPCH, introducing the attendees to the topic of the seminar, saidthat there are tremendous opportunities in the Latin American Region. Hesaid, the total exports of handicraft items from India is valued at 4 billionUSD. The two largest markets for Indian handicrafts are US and Europewhich make up for about 60% of all handicraft exports. The Latin AmericanRegion and the Caribbean region are two upcoming markets which canprovide opportunities to all kinds of exporters, right from the start-ups tobig and experienced players.
The seminar was moderated by Mr. R Viswanathan, Former Ambassadorto Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, who complimented EPCH for beingthe most professionally organized and efficient export promotion councilin the country. He informed that while Indian handicraft exports make up4% of the total exports to Latin American countries, this share can betaken to almost 500 million dollars by 2020. Indian culture is respected inLatin America and Indian handicrafts are treated as cultural and not justcommercial products. Latin America is a large and growing market with

a population of 550 million people and the GDPof the area comes to almost 6 trillion dollars. Theper capita income of the region is almost thricethe Indian per capita income. People in thesecountries are moving rapidly from lower class tomiddle class as the economies have stabilized.Brazil is the largest economy and Mexico is thesecond largest, added Mr. Vishwanathan.
Economic and Commercial Counsellor, Embassyof Peru, Mr. Luis M. Cabello, introduced theaudience to Peru and informed them about thePeruvian markets. He informed the attendees that
inflation is controlled inPeru and it is one of thestrongest economies inthe Latin AmericanRegion. The geography isvaried and the culture is based in age old traditionjust like India. Peru is a leading exporter of Lead,Fish, Silver, Copper, Zinc, Asparagus, Paprika,Avocados and Bananas. Indian producers whileentering the Peruvian markets must customize theirproducts to suit the market and must apply theirtechniques to similar and familiar designs, headviced.
Dr. Tamanna Chaturvedi, eminent faculty of IndianInstitute of Foreign Trade, made an elaboratepresentation on the need for exporters to understandthe markets they are planning to sell to. Giving theexample of Madhubani print t-shirts, she explained
that a product which might be a best seller in one market may be altogetherrejected in another. Along with the understanding of the market, an abilityto adapt product to the specific market can also give exporters an edge inbusiness. She also stressed that using the right HS codes while exportingproducts can help the exporters in availing the low duty brackets.

Liked the bohemian style accessories

and this is my second
visit to this fair. I
came 6 years ago
and stopped coming
due to the increase
in prices of the

the designs are different. I really liked the
bohemian style of the accessories. The use of
blue and yellow is pleasing. I feel that the
designs of the products displayed in the Mart
are too traditional whereas in the halls the
designs are trendy and new.

good but the designs are not in accordance
with my market. So, I will be briefing my
suppliers on some ideas and they will get it
made for me. However, some the products
take a lot of time to be manufactured.

Furniture made in India is in demand
I am a wholesaler
dealing in furniture
made of attic and
ancient wood. There is a
huge scope for
furniture products in
Lebanon. I also go to
Indonesia to source. The
furniture made in India is quite in demand in
Lebanon. There is possibility of Indian accessories
manufacturers to reach out to Lebanon.

Indian suppliers could develop
knitted accessories for Spain
This is my
second visit to
this fair and I
buy accessories,
jewellery, bags,
and scarves. I
work for a
company that
has Indian partners and am here to meet
my regular suppliers. I feel that that the
accessories and cloth bags are exclusive in
design and are in tune with trends in the
Spanish market. However, I am disspointed
at not finding much of leather bags. In
spain, there is demand for knitted
accessories which one does not find in
India. It would be great if suppliers
develop products in this category. I feel
that globally, Indian jewellery and
accessories are present in all markets
because of their beautiful designs.

Looking for glasses and metal
products
I am an Art Director of a
fashion company in
Spain and I have been
coming to this fair since
last five years. Apart
from India I have been
visiting fairs at
Singapore, Thailand and
France. I am looking for glasses and metal
products. I must say that the fair has grown over
years. Juanma Lorenzo, Spain
Have seen IHGF grow in size, design
andand innovationWe are
retailers
and
interior

consultants
from
England
and source all our products from India, with
textiles and furnishings among main interests.
We have been visiting IHGF Delhi for many
years and have seen this fair grow with time. It
has not just grown in size but also in terms of
product design and innovation. We have deep
trade ties with India and are glad to see that
exhibitors have brought in such great stuff in
the home décor segment. We were just going
through the Mart area and think it's a great idea
to have such showrooms. It gives the buyers
more time to interact with exporters as the
marts are open after the regular fair hours as
well. George and Gulliver Bristow, UK
Interested in furniture and home
decor products
I am interested in
furniture, metal
vases and mirror
frames. I am an
importer and
cater to high and
medium end
markets. Apart
from India we source our goods from China
and also locally from Vietnam.

Good quality and design
I buy products
for my bazaar
i.e. of textiles,
shawls,
carpets and
decorative
items. I am a
retailer in
spain and have been coming to the IHGF
since 5 years. I feel that the quality and
designs of Indian product is good and
different but they are becoming expensive
now. Hence, Indonesia seems feasible. I
come to india to buy woolen, silk and
cotton products. Pedro, Spain
New items in handloom here
I am visiting IHGF
since last five years
and we deal in gift
items ,festivals
items and
handicrafts. This
time I found some
new items in
handloom and apparel. The clothing and
handloom products are new and different and
this is something that our customers will like
to buy. The fair is really well organized and has
been getting better over years. All the very
best to the team. Petra Rehwald, Germany
Products all all-high end to low end
I am a designer and our company deals in
designing and
sourcing furniture
and other home
decors. We do both
wholesale and retail
business. This is my
first visit to IHGF and
it feels glad to be
here. Apart from
India we import from Vietnam and Indonesia. I
feel that India has a great opportunity to
expand its market in this sector. It is the quality
of Indian furniture and home decor and range
from high to low end that impresses the
customers in our country. There is a big
demand for Indian products in USA, which
makes me feel that India has great opportunity
to expand its market base.
Mathew Rogers, USA
Products with a soul from India
I have a
wholesale
business of
souvenirs and
this is my
second visit to
this fair. We
import mostly
from Asian countries out of which 20% is
from India. At the fair, I found the wooden
products and textile stuffs to be really
interesting. Not only the products but the
people of India are also special. It is not only
Indian products that one takes along but also
the soul of the country which is in the
products. They are really amazning and
unique. I feel that Indian handicrafts have a
good future ahead. Katrina Tissen, Russia

MSC : Shipping capacities
with economies of scale
This is an excellent fair, displaying
merchandise from all major export hubs of
the country. The display is brilliant and the
products are well suited to the markets of
developed countries. MSC has been
providing shipping facilities to Indian
exporters for a long time. In order to expand
their business horizons, the exporters must
stick to the timelines and keep coming up
with innovative products. In India, almost all
the major producers of handicraft items are
located in land-locked areas.
To help Indian exporters reach the world
markets easily, MSC has deployed the
maximum ship capacity to India so that the
exporters can enjoy the economies of scale.
MSC is also coming with a world class ICD
facility in Faridabad, which will be a
sprawling 104 acre facility with rail
connectivity offering single window
solutions including custom clearances to
the exporters.
Exceptional quality, impressive
design and price
We started our retail
business in US in
2000 and it’s been a
decade long
association with
India and IHGF. We
used to source
Indian products from European fairs. In order to
maintain economies we decided to ship
directly from India. Our US clients just love
Indian handicraft goods, especially home decor,
furniture and gifts. The quality that you get in
IHGF is exceptional and price and design has
been impressive over the years. Some big
players need to work on attitude. I appreciate
efforts made by Mr. Rakesh Kumar (ED EPCH).
I also believe that Indian products can standout
even without the evident traditional essence.
Serge Milan, USA
One gets new design very easily here
Mine is new start-up
in Japan dealing in
lifestyle products. It’s
been hardly three
and I exclusively
source my products
from India. India is a
colourful country so
are the products available here. It has its own
charm. The quality here is acceptable and one
gets new design very easily. We have already
placed our orders and I am looking to do more
business. Utsumi Michiya, Japan
I have made friends here and its fun
to meet them
I am a wholesaler for
home accessories.
Here they are trendy
but textiles are too
traditional for my
market. I mainly
come here to meet
regular suppliers and
find a few new and good suppliers. I give my
suppliers my own designs. Indian dealers
should try to make some innovative designs
and not repeat what they have already
exhibited. I visit the Marts as well to meet my
regular suppliers. Quite a lot of Marts are empty
still, but the silence is good to relax! Due to
such a long association with the country, I have
made friends here. Michael Kohler, Germany
Products are modern in style
This is the third
time that I am
coming to this fair
and I am looking
for handmade
scarves, cushions
and coasters. I am
into a wholesale
business of handmade decor products and
import from Thailand and India in which India
is our main source. We have a good market of
Indian products as they are modern in style.
The fair is well organized and everything is
orderly placed. My good wishes to the
organizers.Gao Jing, China
Exploring options for gifting
I am Director of Toniq Retail Brands Pvt Ltd. and
cater to both online
and offline market.
We have stores
across India. I have
been visiting IHGF
fairs for past three
years and feel its
opening an array of
opportunities for new players. I am exploring
my options for the Christmas gifts and
decoratives. Poonam Lalvani
Fusion of tradition and modern
We are Iltaly
wholesalers dealing
in bags, scarves and
garments and have
been in the business
for past 15 years. We
cater exclusively to
the medium end
market. I am a designer myself and yet the
innovative designing in drapes here amazes
me, especially their shape and sizes. However,
bag designs appear to be slightly repetitive.
Though it’s not my business area but I find the
furniture and glassware impressive. The fusion
of tradition and modern trends makes it a hot
pick. There is great demand of Indian products
in Italy. To be honest, Italians don’t like a ‘made
in China’ label on their products!
Loretta Fabbrri, Italy
Mix of exhibitors here provides
goodoptions to choose from
We are Germany
based wholesalers
dealing in home
decor and furniture
in business since 20
years. WE have a 15
years association
with IHGF fairs.
Initially we imported Indian products from
Europe but later switched to direct imports. We
cater mainly to EU countries, Austria and
Germany. To meet these demands we source
our products from China and India. Indian fairs
are interesting. The mixture of exhibitors
provides good option to choose from. India is a
place where one develops the design. We
source 80% of designs from Indian fairs.
Wiegers, Germany
IHGF increases market presence
I am a wholesaler
for handicrafts,
soft stones, wood
and brass
products. The
quality of the
Indian products is
different. This is
my fifth year of IHGF visit. I bring my own
designs and the suppliers make it here. I also
visited marts this time but found them to be
expensive. The buyer’s lounge is quite relaxing.
I believe that with such fairs the space for the
Indian market is expanding. Josef, Austria
Indian suppliers offer flexibility on
quantity
This is my sixth visit
to IHGF. I buy
houseware and
interior decorative
items. I feel that the
quality of products is
average but designs
are far better. In
Japan, there is a huge market for Indian metal
products, rugs and particularly, brass. I feel India
is a better market than China because there we
need to buy in bulk. The Indian market provides
us the flexibility with the amount of products
that we need. In Japan, we expect Indians to
manufacture and export more of wooden
items in the interior décor products.
Ho Mit Suka, Japan
Great fair for home accessories and
handicrafts
I have been visiting
India since a very
long time and have
attended around
twenty IHGF fairs in
India. I find IHGF a
great fair for home
accessories and handicrafts. We sell both in
wholesale and retail but this time I have come
here for our E-Commerce that is getting
launched very soon. Each time I visit this fair I
find it to be different. This time I find many
innovative products like recycled metals which
are very environment friendly. Apart from India
we source from Philippines, China, Thailand,
Vietnam among which India and Philippines
are our major sources and Indian imports have
a great market in our country. India has good
scope to expand and I hope that it turns out to
be the leading producer of handicrafts and
home accessories.
Sonny Boey, Singapore
Indian products by competitors
forced us to explore Indian market
We own retail stores
in Ecuador that caters
furniture and home
decor to medium
and high end
markets. This our
second visit to India
and first to IHGF fair.
Being a designer I can say that Indian fairs have
much more innovative designs. People are very
nice and they have agreed to take small order
from us. As our competitors were already
offering Indian products we were forced to
explore options in the Indian market by visiting
ourselves.
Claudia Colina & associate, Ecuador
IHGF fairs offer more options in
furniture and industrial design
I am here for
furniture and
industrial design
products. I own a
wholesale business
in Germany and
cater to high end
market. This my third
visit to IHGF fair. Apart from India we source our
products from China, Turkey and France. Indian
products have good design and their quality is
satisfactory. They are expensive as compared
to Chinese products, especially the furniture.
But IHGF fairs offer more options. We have
good demand for Indian products in Germany.
The organizers have put up a satisfactory show.
Mustafa Gur, Germany
A search for table top gifts
Our thirty year old company ’Finns of Chelsea’
is based in London.
We cater high end
luxury goods. We are
coming to India for
past five years and
it’s been a search for
table top gifts. China,
Scandinavian,
Morocco and US are our other sourcing
destinations. It’s convenient for us to ship
products from European countries but Indian
exporters offer great variety. We source atleast
25% of our products from India. Quality of
Indian products depends on the quantity. Larger
the volume better the quality. Designs here are
more innovative and on-trend. They should also
work a bit on the sampling of products. On one
fifth of occasions product delivered has been
different from sample. Milli Bagot, UK
Demand for Indian products intact
I have been
sourcing products
from India since
decades. The growth
in past 5 years has
been exceptional.
Now IHGF fairs are
more organized and
better managed.
Trends in Austria have kept on changing but
demand for Indian products have always
remained. Product in demand has kept on
changing, from knob to lighting. This time I am
looking for good brass, mirror and wood boxes.
Most important thing is that Indian products
have established themselves as international
hot picks. Many in the European market don’t
know the religious importance of Ganesha but
they like it as design! Marian Jehsner, Austria
Natural fibre textiles bring me here
I am a retailer for
textiles visiting IHGF
for the 5th time. The
quality is good here
and we have the
flexibility of buying
less quantity.
Products made from
natural fibre such as cotton and jute mainly
attract me. I also give ideas to my suppliers and
then they produce as per specifications. I also
feel that Indian furniture has good scope in my
market because of the kind of wood that is
used. The handmade products are of excellent
quality. They really excite the French market.
Marine & associate, France
Good scope due to excellent quality
This is my 7th visit. I buy lamps and interior
decorative items.
The products are
too traditional for
my market. Hence, I
have my imports
custom designed
here. India is getting
more and more
expensive due to
which people tend to turn to Chinese market.
The Indian products have excellent quality and
hence have a good scope, provided they
maintain reasonable prices.
Gro hustoft, Norway
Furniture suppliers provide designs
in accordance with UK market
I am a retailer and
wholesaler from
UK and this is my
12th visit. I love
the quality and
designs. I feel that
there are enough
furniture suppliers
that provide exclusive and trendy designs in
accordance with the UK market. I visit the Marts
and like the display that they have put outside
the Marts. It attracts more people. I feel the fair
is at par with those in UK. The halls are better
placed. I have developed an emotional
connect with the suppliers that brings me here
again and again. Matthew Harrison, UK
Exclusive designs here
I am a wholesaler
for furniture, home
decorative items
and textiles. It has
been 3 years that I
have been visiting
the fair. I like the
quality and
exclusive designs seem here. They are much
demanded in Lebanon market. The fair is
huge and better than many.
Tarek Zebian, Lebanon
5th IHGF visit but 1st Spring fair
I buy home décor
products. It is the first
spring fair that I am
attending but I have
always attended IHGF
Autumn I liked the
products and designs
that are exclusive and
in trend with the US market. The fair is easy to
navigate and locate suppliers. I visit the Marts as
well. I like the handmade quality. Gradually,
India is making its own space in the global
market. Lonte Wires, USA
Discovered new areas in lighting
I am a wholesaler
and a retailer of
metal wares,
lights,teen wares
and glass lights.I
used to import from
China but now I buy
from India as well. I
feel that we have discovered many new areas
this time, in nightlights, industrial lights and
glass lights.
Irvin Hoover, USA
I like wooden decoratives & lights
I am a wholesaler
cum retailer of
home decor and
this is my 2nd
visit to IHGF. I also
import from
China but now
we are planning
to buy only from India.I like Indian textiles
especially the carpets and pillows. Apart from
this I like wooden decoratives and lighting. I
wish the fair is mapped better next
time.Iexpect to see this change in April Home
Expo by EPCH.Vladimir Zaharov, Russia
Designs in sync with Spain
I am a retailer and
this is my first visit
here. I buy mainly
handicrafts and
jewellery. The
designs are really
different and the
quality is good and
in sync with Spanish
market. I am pleased to see the handmade
products and use of leather in bags. I really
liked the fair and am looking forward to come
to the next edition. Macricio Pucae, Spain
Flexible suppliers bring me here
I am from france but live in Jaipur. I buy
handicrafts and
work as a
wholesaler. I feel
that the designs of
the products are
repetitive. I would
love to design for
them. The
presentation of the exhibition is pretty. I have
been coming here for 6 years now and feel
happy about the flexibility that suppliers
provide. I give them my designs and they
manufacture for me. I would suggest that the
fair should give bigger platform to artisan
articles.
Florence Frenay, France (based in India)
Found exclusive products
We deal in small
gifting merchandise
and souvenirs. We
found out about
IHGF through an
email. We deal in
very particular
designs and have
found some helmets, swords and wrought
iron products that suit our needs. We think
these products will be easily marketable.
There is huge variety in the products.
Robert Bungay, Sweden
Lights and furniture for me
It feels great to come here. I am into a
wholesale business
of furniture and
lighting. I feel that
India has the best
handicrafts in the
world. I import from
Vietnam and China
as well but Indian
products are something which has a better
market in our country. Its light and the
furniture which caught my fancy this time.
