    One Mans Opinion

    Part I

It was interesting to see the main stream media give so much ink tothe allegations about Alderman Tony Thomas on a website. Person-ally, I hope all the complaints are groundless, BUT if the GBI findsmerit to the accusations, then let the chips fall where they may. Ioften watch the City Council meetings and think that outspoken Good Time Tony is the mostentertaining of all the council members. A few years back when he incessantly questioned thefrequency of international trips by other council members and administrators led me to write, and Iquote, There is no truth to the rumor that Alderman Thomas uses the eeny, meany, miney, moesystem when deciding how to vote. I hope youre innocent Tony, but if youre not I have thesneaking suspicion that our new DA, Ms. Heap is going to kick your butt.

Part IICongratulations to the Baltimore Ravens on their Championship. Hip Hip Hooray! (At least I wont have towatch Ray Lewis prance around anymore before the game.)

Part IIIMY President gave a rousing State of the Union Address the other night. His insights into theproblems in this country are clear, concise and as the kids say on point. His plans for fixing themare nothing less than clear, fair, nonpartisan and utterly doable. Then, I listened to the Republicanresponse, surprisingly, Sen. Rubio expressed some of the same concerns as to existing problems, but thats where the similarities ended.

It became abundantly clear, that its going to be tough going to get anything of any consequencethrough the Republican controlled House of Representatives. The party of NObama may be takinga breather before the mid term elections, while trying to reinvent themselves into a hipper, moreunderstanding, younger, multicultural, kind, reverent, brave, touchy, feeley, blah, blah, blah party, but apparently, the underlying old fogies still running the party only care about themselves and theirspecial interests rather than the rest of the country.

If they were smart and if their philosophical reality check is real, NOW would be the perfect time tostep up, work with MY President FOR the people and then sit back and be shocked as to how theirfortunes AND the country are changed for the better.

Just, One Mans Opinion.Live Long and Prosper
