One Mans Opinion

Part I

Normally in the morning I turn on the news on the TV. Be HLN.MSNBC or CNN. I just want to find out whats going on in the world,but lately, theres been nothing but the Trayvon Martin i.e. GeorgeZimmerman trial on all three networks. Yes, I want to follow, the trialand I am certainly interested in the outcome, but I Dont want towatch 100% of the proceedings. Just give me the highlights and somewhere to go if I wantmore .details.

There are other important (maybe like the uprising in Egypt, or Mandelas illness) and not so impor-tant (like somebody, I dont know who and dont care leaving the View) things going on and Id like toknow about them too. So dont overload me with the trial, lets get back to balance reporting, if I justwant Law and Order I can get it On Demand.

Part IIOK, OK, Yes, I said the N word in the past but Paula didnt. Oh please, give me a break. Whyshould I believe you after you admit among other things stealing $30,000 from the restaurant or asyou put it from yourself. Youd been better off being quiet Bubba. Your comments arent worthanymore scrutiny or analysis.

Part IIIShould the Chinese be allowed to buy Smithfield Foods for $4.7 Billion? Lets see, Im a porkperson, I admit it. Bacon, Pork Chops, Ham, Chitterlings, Pig Feet, Ribs, Souse Meat, Hog Head

Cheese, Sausage, I eat everything except the oink. Do I really care who owns the company wherethe pork is processed? Not too much, assuming the pigs are still going to be American pigs, proc-essed in plants in America with the FDA and everybody else looking over their shoulder. Im not tooworried. Me buying the bacon and more will still benefit the American worker and Ill continue to doso until my wife lets me raise a couple of pigs in the woods behind my house..Really..
