THE NASA VISION
To reach for new heights and reveal the unknown so that what we do and learn will benefit all humankind.

Executive Summit
President has called for innovation and education as key to winning the future. The National Space Policy reflects the need for NASA to rebalance toward capability building and less toward operations. This places less emphasis on an immediate destination and more focus on our readiness to explore.
Challenges we are facing : tough fiscal times; increasing collaboration with the commercial sector in areas traditionally held by NASA; increasing reliance on international partners; optimizing the use of the assets we have; and letting go of redundant or unneeded facilities, infrastructure, and programs that have been
precious to us.
4
As NASA Leaders we must….
Look for opportunities to collaborate and leverage resources and talent.
Support the Agency’s direction to create consistent ways to collaborate and interact with external partners on issues such as pricing policy, competition, and FTE usage.
Ensure that our teams are diverse and inclusive in all facets of the definitions of those terms to ensure innovation, robust problem solving capability, and a future that is relevant for all involved.
Lead the charge to educate our next generation so that the future is bright for all of us.
