Human CD34+ Cells Derived from Mobilized Leukopak
CD34 is a glycosylated transmembrane protein and represents a well-known marker for primitive blood and bone marrow-derived progenitor cells. CD34+ stem cells are multipotent and can give rise to all cell types in blood. Additionally, CD34 cells are responsible for all lympho-hematopoietic lineages even though they comprise only a small percentage of the cell population.
PPA’s Mobilized CD34+ cells are isolated from mobilized leukopaks using positive immunomagnetic cell separation procedures. All mobilized peripheral blood is collected in ACDA from fully consented IRB approved donors that test negative for HIV, HBV and HCV and have been mobilized with G-CSF.
