LIBERAL ARTS, Associate in Arts Degree - 2091 Communication, Humanities and the Arts Department The Liberal Arts, AA program is designed for students who plan to seek a four-year degree specializing in English or English litera-ture, History, Humanities, Music, World Languages, or related major at a four-year institution. This program provides students with the opportunity to select from a variety of courses to fit their area of interest and/or explore topics within the liberal arts. Since the requirements of senior institutions vary widely, it is essential that students choose an intended transfer institution as soon as possible and carefully follow the program described in that institution’s college catalog. The complete program is available at all of HACC’s campus locations, as well as through Virtual Learning. Transfer Opportunities This transfer curriculum is provided as a guide for students planning to transfer to a baccalaureate degree granting institution. Competency Profile This curriculum is designed to prepare students to: • Transfer into a Liberal Arts major such as English Language or Literature, History, Humanities, Music, or World Languages at
