• Butterflies fly in the air all day• When day turns to night, they rest just like
you and I• A butterfly starts out as a little egg and upon
hatching turns into a caterpillar• In order to grow, the caterpillar eats plants• Caterpillars need water just like you and I.
Therefore when it rains they drink the small rain drops that collect on leaves

A butterfly is an insect. It’s body is divided into three parts (head, thorax, and abdomen). It also has three pairs of legs and two pairs of wings.
