DAILAB-PIKNIKH is a unique meeting that is proposed by DAILAB@AIST Japan (established since Oct 3, 2013) in collaboration with IIT Delhi. The purpose of the meeting is to offer interaction, networking and training opportunities to Indian and Japanese researchers at both ends. PIKNIKH, as the name signifies, aims to provide a Platform for Innovating KNowledge to International KnowHows.
There will be a special emphasis on demonstrating or presenting significance of research in each talk and how the work could benefit international community both at the science and daily life. In order to introduce research, concepts and outcomes of several Japanese scientists to the Indian side and vice versa, there will be a poster session, in addition to the oral presentations, to enable free discussions and interactions between the researchers at two ends. This will be highly useful for (i) students and young researchers for networking & establish future collaborations with Japanese scientists and for (ii) DIALAB-community to identify potential field and collaborations to grow and expand.
In order to motivate students to do meaningful and applied research, there will be special sessionfor students urging them to present their work in a special format of presenting their ideas and thoughts on innovating their efforts to the global outcomes.
