Login Screen
This screen appears when the user first opens PMDC. If the login screen doesn’t appear click the Logon button at the top left of the screen.

When you’ve typed in the password correctly and you’re connecting you’ll get Starting Up toward the lower part of the screen in blue.
If you’re not connecting it will countdown from 60 seconds in the very bottom left corner of the screen where you see Starting Up: PMAPI.

Message
This is the Message screen you get to after you first login. If new messages are arriving they appear in the top white portion of the screen.
When you click new to create a message a new window will appear.

Each department is listed in the Department drop down menu so you can drill down your selection of recipients, if needed.
After you find who you’d like to message click on the appropriate add to place the user in the Message Recipients screen on the right. Once all needed recipients have been added, click ok.

Then, you can type up your message in the message box and click Send.
LEADS Tab (for Running Plates, etc…)
After you click the LEADS tab this is the screen you get. After you run someone the results appear in this screen.

This is the window that appears after you click Vehicle. Each image and word on the left-hand side can be clicked for more options of looking up a specific vehicle.
This is the screen that appears after you click DLN. Same with the screen above, more options are listed on the left-hand side of the screen.

Mdt.ini
The mdt.ini file is located in the Premier MDC folder which can be found inside Program Files or right at the root of C.
This is the PMDC Configuration file full of switches to make the software run that shouldn’t be modified, but there’s one line that shouldn’t be ignored. If there’s a user that is getting the countdown when trying to login they might not have the correct RF Server listed during installation.
Go down to the [Main] section.
LAN Clients should use IP: 10.129.2.100
Verizion Wireless Clients should use IP: 198.224.198.20
