Playagame:TwelveMonths(Welcomeparticipants,introduceyourselfandinviteeveryonetostandforaquickgametogettoknowoneanother.Becausethisis“TWELVECoreTraining,”beginwithagameusingtwelve.Askparticipantstothinkaboutthemonthinwhichtheywereborn.Onthecountofthree,peoplearetofindothersthatwereborninthesamemonthandformagroup.Aftergroupsform,instructpeopletointroducethemselvesandshareoneinterestingfactabouttheirchildhood.Whenfinished,inviteeveryonetobeseated.Explainthatthistrainingwillequipchildren’sworkerstohelpchildrentofollowJesuslikethetwelvedisciples.)

beingapersonofcompassionandintegrityoutsideofclass,notjustwithchildren.Itmeanslivingoutwhatyouareteachingthechildren.

GOD:ThefirstisGodatthecenter,whoseheartforchildrenandheartfortheworldisthe“fire”thatdrivesitall.LEADERS:Nextarethechildren’sleadersandworkerswhoneedtopreparewithskills,biblicalknowledgeandaChrist-likeexample.CHILDREN:Finally,God’sheartforchildrenisthattheygrowasdisciples–notjustbequietandstillinclassorsaymemoryverses,butbecomefollowersofJesusinthisworld.
