Intraspect Vision Consulting Private Limited has received the privilege to provide an Urban Management Specialist to work in the National Project Management Unit under the assistance of World Bank funded Schemes. We were responsible for undertaking urban planning needs, assessing of qualifying Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and reviewing of capacity building proposals in urban/city planning/mapping. Technical Assistance to State Government in Implementa-tion of Smart City Mission, National PMU
We were involved in the projectivization of the smart city proposals, procurement of PMCs for designing, identification of Quick Win Projects, preparation of RFPs, monitoring and implementation for 4 smart cities. At this time, we were also involved in grouping, categorization and typing of projects into modules. Procuring of implementing agencies for each mod-ule, manning of SPVs with appropriate human resources including key management personnel were also a part of our contribution. Technical Assistance to State Government in Implementa-tion of AMRUT Mission (including preparation of SLIP and SAAP)
We had key involvement in the training and holding of 13 states (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Rajasthan, Sikkim and West Bengal) in the preparation of Service Level Improvement Plan (SLIP) and State Annual Action Plan (SAAP). We conducted trainings of various ULB-level officials (500 to 800 heads) for SLIP services like water supply, sewerage, storm water drainage, green space and parks and urban transport. We have provided assistance to ULBs and State Governments in the process of assessment and computation based on Service Level Benchmark (SLB) indicators. . Preparation of Reforms Milestones and Timelines for NURM Cities
Intraspect Vision Consulting Private Limited has prepared snapshot for reform milestones and timelines for following categories: a) revision of building bye-laws periodically, b) preparation of master plan/development plan using GIS, c) creating action plan to progressively increase green cover in cities to 15% in 5 years, d) developing at least one children’s park every year in the NURM cities , e) establishing a system for maintaining of parks, playgrounds, and recreational areas relying on the People Public Private Partnership (PPPP) model. . Rapid Baseline Assessment of Urban Management Capacity of selected CBUD Cities
The role of IVC in this project was to coordinate for the Rapid Baseline Assessment (RBA) of 30 cities in 22 Indian states, provide benchmarks on various indicators and develop comprehensive focused technical assistance interventions under the project guidelines. We identified the capacity gaps and evolved a demand matrix for ULBs to improve capacities and carried out assessments which could be used as pointers towards programming capacity building interventions under various capacity building programs of the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). Preparation of Revised and Fresh City Development Plan for 30 cities across 20 States of India
Intraspect Vision Consulting Private Limited acted as a Lead Urban Spe-cialist and a member of Techncial Advisory Committee (TAC) appointed by Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (MoHUA).
