At the Garden of Remembrance we welcome all to our Memorial Park, a tranquil space of landscaped gardens, quiet niches and
woodlands – an inspiring place to nd solace and remember loved ones, keeping memories alive.
We welcome you to come by and meet with one of our experienced counselors to explore the many burial options we can o er you and your family members. Planning in advance of need ensures that those dear to you will be spared hours of di cult decision-making, avoiding unexpected expenses and guaranteeing the cost of interment rights at current levels.
Twenty two area Jewish congregations have reserved sections in our Garden. Individual and family sites are available ensuring a place for everyone in accordance with their personal wishes.
e Garden of Remembrance is the area’s only community-based, non-pro t Jewish cemetery, honoring the sacred rituals of burial for every branch of Judaism, welcoming all of the Jewish faith, a liated or una liated with a congregation.
Explore the many bene ts of pre-planning for your family at the most inclusive Jewish cemetery in the Washington Metro area. We’re here to assist you. Call our Help Line at 301.428.3000, or visit www.gardenofremembrance.org.
A Special gathering place for all to
remember loved ones and celebrate life.

JCCGW pREsCHOOlthe JCCgW preschool is a place where children grow and learn in a nurturing, inclusive Jewish setting. We strive to foster a positive sense of self for each child. We encourage children to express themselves through creative art and music activities and we make our holidays, customs, traditions and values come to life. through our flexible 10- and 12- month programs, the preschool builds the foundation to create childhood memories, both Judaic and secular. the world renowned pri-or photo House, located in the heart of tel aviv, is one of Israel’s most valuable and monumental private archives of historical photographs taken by rudi Weissenstein, one of the most famous photographers of Israel, as shown in the movie Life in Stills. this exhibit, Your Fortunate Eyes, truly captures the development of Israel during the early years of its formation, from the 1930s-70s—its political, social, ideological and artistic essence. Captured moments include the arrival of Jewish immigrants, the construction of new settlements and industries, the kibbutz collectives and Bedouin arabs, as well as military parades, cultural events and scenes from everyday life.
