36:36 (Asad) Limitless in His glory is He who has created opposites in

whatever the earth produces, and in men’s own selves, and in that of

which [as yet] they have no knowledge.



limitless in His glory is God, the Sustainer of

all the worlds



21:22 (Asad) had there been in heaven or on earth any deities other than

God, both [those realms would surely have fallen into ruin! But limitlessin His glory is God, enthroned in His awesome almightiness far above

anything that men may devise by way of definition!



59:23 (Asad) God is He save whom there is no deity: the Sovereign Supreme, the

Holy, the One with whom all salvation rests, the Giver of Faith, the One who deter-

mines what is true and false, the Almighty, the One who subdues wrong and re-

stores right, the One to whom all greatness belongs! Utterly remote is God, in His

limitless glory, from anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity!



39:67 (Asad) And no true understanding of God have they [who worship aught be-

side Him], inasmuch as the whole of the earth will be as a [mere] handful to Him

on Resurrection Day, and the heavens will be rolled up in His right hand: limitless

is He in His glory, and sublimely exalted above anything to which they may ascribe

a share in His divinity!
