Looking back, 2013 has been another fantastic year for Lamborghini Newport Beach, taking the title for most new Lamborghini cars sold in the U.S. for the third year in a row. We are grateful for our loyal and passionate customers spreading the word about their experience with Lamborghini Newport Beach. Thank you very much!

We started 2014 in a great way with the arrival of the Huracán LP 610-4. We are currently taking orders as we expect the first cars to be delivered over the Summer. You will be able to discover the new V10 from Sant’Agata in depth in this magazine. We will also continue to provide the Lamborghini Community with various events throughout the year for you to share your passion with fellow car guys.

Starting from January 2014 the Huracán will be the protagonist of over 130 private preview events in more than 60 cities throughout the world. The Lamborghini Huracán will make its world public debut at the Geneva Motorshow 2014.

NAMEWith a total volume of 14,022 cars produced, the

Lamborghini Gallardo has been the most successful Lamborghini ever and, in its ten-year lifecycle, lifted the Lamborghini marque to a whole new level. Its successor, the new Huracán, has been developed from scratch down to the very last detail and, like the Gallardo and most other Lamborghini models, derives its name from the world of bullfighting. The fighting bull Huracán of the Spanish Conte de la Patilla breed was known for his outstanding courage and strong sense of attack. He fought in Alicante in August 1879, showing his unrelenting character and remaining defiant and invincible, thus entering into the legend of fighting bulls’ history.

DESIGNThe new Huracán revolutionizes the design language

of the Gallardo and is pure in its lines: precise technology and top level craftsmanship meet an audacious design with sharp edges, monolithic and sculptured volumes and precise surfaces. The starting point is the silhouette of the Huracán, born out of the desire of creating an automobile, whose profile is defined by only one line that merges the front with the cockpit and the rear of the car. The lateral windows come together to create a hexagonal form inserted like a glass jewel in the car’s profile.

Also by night is the Huracán unmistakably a Lamborghini. Not only are the main headlamps equipped with full LED illumination, but all other light functions also feature state-of-the-art LED technology as a standard feature for the first time in the segment.

INTERIORThe interior is dominated by an innovative cockpit. A

12.3 inch full-color TFT instrument panel delivers all car information to the driver, from rev counter to navigation maps and infotainment functions, and can be configured by the driver in different setups. Fine Nappa leather

and Alcantara distinguish the interior, with several color combinations offered to ensure broad individualization options. The design of dashboard and central tunnel underline a new lightness in the interior. Superb craftsmanship guarantees the highest quality and sense of luxury throughout.

IS IT YOUR FIRST LAMBORGHINI?No, this is actually my 10th Lamborghini! My very first one was a 2002 Murcielago. Then I purchased a 2004 Gallardo Coupe, a 2005 Gallardo Spyder, a 2007 LP 640 Coupe, a 2008 LP 640 Roadster, a 2011 Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder, a 2012 Aventador Coupe, another 2012 Aventador Coupe and I got the very first Aventador Roadster in the US by winning the fundraising auction with One Drop. And here I have this 2014 Aventador Roadster I ordered before the auction.

WHAT IS YOUR BEST MEMORY IN A LAMBORGHINI?The first time I pulled up to the clubs and open the wing doors to step out. Wow, what a feeling that was!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE VACATION SPOT?Cannes, France. Love the lifestyle there.

HAVE YOU VISITED THE FACTORY?Not yet but looking forward to doing it this summer.

EVENTSJANUARY 2014 SUPERCAR SHOW

What other way to start off the fresh year of 2014 than to host a Supercar Show at our dealership. Much like last year, we’ll be hosting our Supercar

Shows the very first Saturday of every month. This past Saturday, January 4th, proved to be quite the Supercar Show. As always, 8:45AM rolled around as cars already started showing up. By 9:30AM, the parking lot was nearly full and by 10:00AM, we were at full capacity.

No matter your taste in exotic super cars, there was a supercar here that held a special spot in every onlooker’s heart. If you’re a Lamborghini fanatic, Diablo, Aventador, Murcielago, Murcielago LP 670-4 SV and Gallardo of all years and colors were there.

From the Ferrari stable were plenty of 430 Scuderia, a 360 Modena, a 458 or two, and the heart-stopper of all Ferrari, the Enzo. But make no mistake, the Enzo wasn’t the only show-stopper. A Koenigsegg CCX pulled the crowds to the sidewalk as it made its approach to our lot. Although it was a bit tough navigating through the parking lot with the dense crowds, the elusive pegasus of a supercar rested in the corner of our lot content and poised.

As the Koenigsegg shut down, the howl of a V10 in the distance became clear. The howl of a V10 produced by a Carrera GT also triggered everyone’s ears as if onlookers had a spider-sense of another approaching special supercar.

On top of the already impressive line up of the CCX, Carrera GT, Enzo, and many Lamborghini and Ferrari super cars, two cars possessed a unique tone like no others. The 1st was our friend and client Paul with his beast of a Murcielago, his Grigio Telesto Murcielago LP 670-4 SV. The 2nd was a GMG Racing-prepped Porsche GT3RS Cup Car that had a full build completed at GMG Racing. The brutal yet majestic sound of the flat 6 cylinder was unlike any Porsche GT3 we’ve heard. On the flip side to the brutal-sounding GT3 was a proud showing of the highly refined and atrociously fast McLaren 12C. A few 12C Coupes and a few 12C Spiders made an appearance to our show including a rare Neiman Marcus Edition 12C finished in an elegant Volcano Red paint. Additional attendees included a Porsche Turbo, an Audi R8 wrapped in an eye-catching Matte-Blue Chrome by Protective Film Solutions, and a special Perana Z-One.

Automobili Lamborghini America, LLC has confirmed the details for the North American 2014 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo season.

The provisional calendar for the 2014 season, which will run 6 events with IMSA and the TUDOR United Sportscar Championship is as follows:

Round One 13-14 March Sebring, FL Round Two 3-4 May Laguna Seca, CARound Three 27-28 June Watkins Glen, NYRound Four 12-13 July Canadian Tire Motorsports ParkRound Five 23-24 August Virginia International RacewayRound Six 2-3 October Road Atlanta (Petit Le Mans)

Official 2014 pre-test session - SEBRING The 2014 pre-season test will take place on February 24-25 at Sebring international Raceway.The test will consist of 4 hours of track time each day.

Entry to the complete series (six events) includes:

• 5 VIP passes to hospitality, parking and paddock passes.• The request of additional passes of any kind must be

communicated to the Lamborghini coordination team by supplying the name of the persons and the type of passes required.

• One full set of FIA homologated OMP driver equipment per driver, which includes an Official Lamborghini race suit, fireproof underwear, and gloves.

• Lamborghini team clothing for 5 team members.

We are pleased to announce that the initiative started with in 2011 supplying 3 sets of Pirelli slick tires free of charge for each entered car during each official event of the calendar, will continue in 2014.
