1. CARD recognizes that it is not in the business of microfinance/ microinsurance. It is in the business of poverty eradication.
2. Poverty eradication is the responsibility of everyone.
3. The more viable MFIs/MBAs in the country- we can ensure poverty eradication in a quickest and cost-effective way.
4. CARD wants to share the technology on MBAs- its mechanism & methodology. And bring in the philosophy of not only access, but control of resources- CARD MBA is 100% owned by members.
5. Having more replicators create the microinsurance industry.
6. As an industry, there will be professionalization of staff, ensure board governance and establishment of standards i.e. SEGURADO
