Halloween falls on October 31st. It is a popular holiday in many countries, especially the United States.
Halloween started in Europe 2,000 years ago. People believed that ghosts came out on October 31st.
They were scared of ghosts so they wore scary costumes to trick them.
Today, Halloween is all about fun.
People make jack-o’-lanterns. They cut a face into a pumpkin and put a candle inside. People dress up
in costume on Halloween. Some costumes are scary. Some costumes are funny. As soon as it gets
