The 3rd Commandment
Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
What does this mean?
We should fear and love God that we do not despise preaching and his Word, but regard it as holy and gladly hear and learn it.
1. How does God refresh us spiritually?
Exodus 35:2 For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death.

Sabbath: The Jewish day of rest and worship (Saturday)

God wants us to consider his Word to be his true teaching given to create faith in us.

We break this commandment when:
When other things are more important to us than the Word.
We are not faithful about coming to church and Bible class.
