platform without direct competitors as it is a teaching and empowerment program.• Positioned at the heart of
Johannesburg Youth culture and houses the most promising budding young journalists and photographers
Areas of concern• We have noted that the tabs
on the site don’t hold what the user expects to find when clicking into specific tabs.• The site is not updated on a
daily basis • Not all back links land on
specified destinations• There is not a synergy
between the social media sites and the website
Recommendations • Our goal is to improve user
experience and drive traffic to the site.
• The image above is a template of how we recommend Live Mag should look and feel.
• We have combined fashion and Life style as these are closely linked and can exist on a single tab
• We renamed culture to urban culture as the tittle proved to be confusing to some users
• We added a tab for entrepreneurship as articles on entrepreneurship on the site received the most likes and interaction and we feel content on this subject matter should be increased
• We removed Win as a tab and instead opted for pop up messages whenever certain competitions are ran
