LIWAThe lightweight panel formwork for forming with or without a crane
PERI LIWA, the lightweight panel formwork, was specially developed for construction sites where crane capacities are very limited or forming must take place completely by hand.
With only 5 panel widths and a very
simple corner design, whereby no spe-
cial corner panels are required, all ground
plans can be quickly and easily formed.
The lightweight panels also allow
problem-free use as side formwork
for beams. In the process, the small
number of different-sized panels ensure
fast material planning as well as easy
storage in the stockyard and on the
construction site.
With the LIWA panels, columns up
to 55 x 55 cm can be formed in 5 cm
increments.
Special feature of the panel:Each standard panel is, at the same
time, a multi-purpose panel with a
perforated strip.
Panels 4 system heights of 300 m, 2.50 m,
1.50 m and 0.75 m featured in the
5 panel widths of 0.75 m, 0.60 m,
0.50 m, 0.40 m and 0.25 m are availa-
ble. As a result, wall thicknesses of
15 – 40 cm – also in corner areas –
can be formed without any problems.
The overall height of the panels is
only 10 cm and thus ensures space-
saving transportation and storage.
The panel weight of approx. 35 kg/m²
allows easy manual handling also for
the 75 cm panel.

The 25 cm panel is used on the
internal corners and straight walls.
No special corner panels are required.
Panel connections With the LIWA Wedge Clamp for
standard panel joints and the Wedge
Clamp Compensation for compensa-
tions between the panels up to a
maximum of 5 cm, tight panel joints
are guaranteed.
Permissible fresh concrete pressure LIWA formwork has been designed
for a fresh concrete pressure of
50 kN/m² according to DIN 18218,
Table 3, Line 6.
Accessories Practical accessories such as scaffold
brackets, push-pull prop connections,
lifting hook and compensation waler
supplement the product range and
allow efficient forming with system
components.

Moving panels With the LIWA Crane Hook, panel
units are moved with the help of a
crane.
The maximum load-bearing capacity of the
LIWA Crane Hook is 300 kg.

from 15 x 15 cm up to 55 x 55 cm can
be formed in 5 cm increments.
The columns are anchored using
the Corner Connector and Spanner
